Itachi trolled Kabuto more then we thought?

Okay so when Itachi was explaining how Izanami I didn't really think about it at first until I recently went back and started reading the chapters over. If you noticed that after Itachi and Sasuke broke the genjutsu and he and Sasuke both caught the Orochimaru head he threw at them.

Pay attention to this scene and what Sasuke says to Itachi and look how Itachi responds...

Now remember, Itachi said in that scene he was activating Izanami BUT we know that was a lie(this is why he didn't respond to Sasuke) because Izamani wasn't complete. Itachi has to reenact the crow clone and Kabuto stabbing it to activate Izanami. In order for him to do this, Kabuto has to have Sasuke's sword and he has to be on the ceiling of the cave to reenact that that part in the manga. Now notice right before he said he was activating Izanami he released his Susanoo leaving him wide open and pay attention to what happens next...

Right after he is slashed in half, he calls out to Sasuke and Sasuke throws his sword at Kabuto and Kabuto catches it.

Now here is the obvious explanation of how Izanagi works... Which basically meant he baited Kabuto into attacking him so that he could rely on Sasuke to give him the sword and thus have him back on the ceiling to reenact the start of Izanami. This means he let his Susanoo(opening his self to be attacked) down on purpose because he knew he would attack but relied on Sasuke to counter with his sword thus Kabuto jumping to the ceiling and thus he was placed in Izanagi by reenacting the crow clone.

What Itachi meant here is that he will be finishing the loop of Izanagi. This is why the loop only has the recordings of everything that happened after Kabuto touched the ceiling. Which means he let himself get hit on purpose.

I guess he really planned ahead in this fight because for all that to take place exactly how he wanted it to is crazy.

Did itachi get cut in half twice in that fight? I only noticed 1 when Kabuto said he just wants to be himself, but after looking at this he was cut in half before that. Kabuto kick their ass in that fight lol

No, he started recording the loop right after Kabuto jump to the ceiling(right after he was cut in half). That's when he recorded the loop and then ended the loop with the crow clone. He baited Kabuto to attack him so he could set it up. The master trollage I guess.

THANK YOU!!! Everyone kept saying that kabuto is stronger than the Uchiha bros because he owned them, specifically kabuto able to chop itachi in half twice, even though itachi let him do that, because it was itachi's plan. *****

Ive always kept quiet when people say itachi got killed so and so times. It got so ridiculous people were counting times when it was in izanami because they didnt know when izanami started. Others said itachi got killed 3 times before izanami and im thinking lol all those 3 times were planned.

The first was a karasu bunshin. Now im not sure how stabbing a clone counts as killing the original but also it was part of the plan, to start the loop.

Second time itachi got killed, this was real, however he took full advantage of his edo state an protected sasuke. He had already anticipated the attack and activated susano to protect sasuke. Kaubto even acknowledged this fact.

The final time, he got cut in half, however as you said, he needed to complete izanami. Izanami started with itachi's clone getting stabbed, but also kabuto was at the top of the ceiling with sasuke's sword. Izanami finished with kabuto being at the top of the ceiling with sasuke's sword. Its not very hard to understand that izanami wasnt complete, but after this last act did it become complete and was in effect. There are other things you noted, like sasuke still having susano activate, whilst itachi deactivated his. He isnt the type to be this careless, especially when the enemy's previous attack is less than 5 metres away from him.

Izanami needed to be complete the same way it started with itachi being wounded and kabuto at the top of the ceiling with sasuke's sword
