I don't itachi could handle the kyuubi, maybe with somebody help, but a full demon fox will TBB your ass at no time, like we see in kushina's flashback. and i don't think yata mirror can handle a direct TBB, is a legendary item, yes, but no one of the SO6P's legendary item so for the purposes of bijus it could be not that much "invencible".
If the fox is at 50% of its original chakra, maybe itachi have a chance. But the complete one, i don't think so cuz the fox at half of its power is clearly the most powerfull biju we have seen

You are only thinking about speed and tbh i dont think the fox is that fast to avoid getting scratched at all.
Look how easily oro's hydra tech got sealed along with him and the fox is like 10 times bigger. It isnt avoiding the sword. Also nagato got sealed pretty quick.
Btw that fight in naruto's MIND shouldnt be used as a base for your argument

also you should know nagato had mobility probles due to him being crippled...

Kyuubi would lose, Itachi isn't that weak and if you're talking about him healthy and stronger than he was when he fought Sasuke then he would definitely win. Kyuubi is a big target, as most people have mentioned, and even if it is fast it would take a while to move his whole body around.
LOL forgot about that, true....Kusanagi was unable to peirce minature kyuubi's cloak, and thats supposed to be a legendary weapon just like totsuka sword, that can peirce anything , even diamond enma said if he got hit by kusanagi it would hurt

Totsuka won't even peirce kyuubi's cloak, if kusanagi couldn't peirce 4 tailed kyuubi's own

and kusanagi and totsuka sword are both legendary items in jappenese myth and naruto verse myth

You are comparing the kusanagi sword to the totsuka sword :flaw:. Itachi's susano has more ways of winning than the kyuubi. Also kyuubi doenst have a chakra cloack :flaw:.
