More I talk to ya the more I realise you really are a textbook Uchiha worshipper. Like who you like but man, reading the manga through that kinda lens to the point you can ignore Shikamaru's...constant presence and involvement with the plot? Something else.
As much as Kishi tried in the war, it's not a Uchiha manga. Then again, Uchiha fans will find a problem with Rock Lee if it suits their argument. Nobody has a problem with Rock Lee.
