Sasuke should have enough intel to know what really happened....

The Uchiha wanted to take over the Leaf
Itachi knew this...
Itachi loved his village more than the clan, he also hated war
Itachi knew that if the uchiha attacked the village, then the village would fall in its entirety from an invasion from outside forces after an internal war weakened the Leaf...
Itachi knew that if only the uchiha clan was killed, then the village could remain...
Itachi stated that sasuke had no idea of the clan's plans, and he set up Sasuke to be a hero, and sadly the unavoidable hatred and loss of family had to take place...
That's why he let him live...

Itachi put the village as a whole above his clan.... simple

It absolutely sucked for Sasuke and Itachi, and Itachi made the decision to protect the village and become a criminal instead of letting the uchiha try to rise to power... weaken the village, and be a victim of an invasion in its weakened state...

Itachi had 2 LAME decisions to choose, and he chose the best one.... He also could've killed Sasuke, but yet again... script no jutsu.

And of course Sasuke had to become who he was instead of slaying Itachi and returning a hero.

just out of complete randomness i think its hilarious that itachi's susanoo blocked sasukes like it was a pathetic insect haha Itachi is a genius what he has done to sasuke and what sasuke has coming for him fill be good, itachi only intended good for his brother and preparing him for anything he faced, i mean he knew tobi wud transplant his eyes into sasuke, now he is going to stop edo. he has thought this war out before it happened .200 chapters ago.

Sasuke loves Itachi(not that way) and the Uchiha Clan.

Anyway ive finally finished reading the latest chapter. I do agree that itachi not stopping to talk to sasuke wasnt good, but as its been said he has to stop edo tesnei. If he doesnt nobody would be able to defeat madara.

Anway i do agree that the whole hate thing was wrong and he has even said that he failed. Not just in this chapter but when he talked to naruto aswell. He did on the other say that he wanted to be judged by an uchiha (sasuke) and that was one of the reasons for letting him live. In order to judged, sasuke has to become strong/er and this was through hate.

He is placed under shisui's control to protect the leaf...

If he did stop and chat, i'd be sad cuz he broke the shisui command

Me too. Sasuke is going to get what's coming too him, although if I was sasuke I would prob do the same thing.

sasuke was in the right as well. he deserves to know why itachi set him on this path and why he kept lying to him. and itachi still doesnt feel like he can change sasuke back, admitting he failed and will leave it to naruto.

"i used the hatred inside of you" "i hoped to be judged for my crimes". "i turned you into a criminal". intended good? he just admitted he'd turned sasuke into a hateful villain.

preparing him for anything he faced

sasuke wasnt the least bit prepared for anything he faced. hes alive right now because many good people found it in their heart to save his life. and hes evil right now because his mind was so broken and confused that he was easily swayed. sasuke basically says tobi had nothing to do with it. he wants konoha destroyed because itachis life was too important and so was the clan's. itachi hears this and UNDERSTANDS. he understands why sasuke is the way he is because he foolishly set him on the path. ultimately, as itachi says, sasuke chooses the path himself. itachi really couldnt control it. even though he hoped sasuke would choose a "right" path. but itachi has finally stopped acting self righteous and accepts that people have their paths, and there isnt really a "good" one.

no he didnt. he suspected it and planned for it. but sasuke initially refused itachis eyes so obviously itachi had only suspicions.

then maybe he should have stopped said war when he had the chance.

now dont get me wrong, i mean what i say when i say he's not a good person or a good spy for his village.
but...i like that he has finally owned up to his crimes and what he did to his brother. i like that hes found the wisdom he lacked in his youth, and finally is choosing the right path and stopping the evil he should have stopped long ago, orochimaru and his legacy.

but i take back what i said about him being irredeemably evil and nonsensical. he was in a bad place back then and sasuke is finally understanding a little bit of what itachis intentions were (to be judged for his crimes by an uchiha, and hoping that uchiha would walk a good path).

he's still an overpowered gary stu and hes still pretty boring. but i respect him.
