Right but like I also said. It is a sign of inferiority if you are in a hand to hand fight. you want to block to allow yourself an opening. The manner at which Naruto jumped back shows he was not ready to go hand to hand with Itachi

ever if it wasn't for him who would have fought Kabuto?! there was no way sasuke would have killed Kabuto alone.. well neither could Itachi do it alone but I'm saying he had a way better chance than sasuke.. Itachi is fast, freeking clever, and his perceptive skills are amazing deal with it. To t off this reply he knows how to perform Izanagi and izanami, izanami a forbidden ninjutsu that Kabuto nor Orochimaru knew about.

oh really? cause this is all situational my friend. dodging the way Naruto did is a sign of submission. You dodge to provide a more accurate counter attack which in naruto's way of dodging was a sign of submission or inferiority. Itachi not only blocked all attacks but he controlled the fight until naruto jumped back
