Itachi should've handled that uchiha massacre differently

Itachi could've at least taken all the Uchiha children out of the village or faked most of their death. All he had to do is amaterasu the whole place and the Uchiha clan could escape to somewhere else and live in peace. Damn that would've been nice. The uchiha clan living in the far east and created their own village. Then come out of no where during the 4th war!

But really, Itachi didn't try to talk-no-jutsu his clan. He just straight up accepted that there is no hope for the clan.

That wouldnt have been neccecasry had itachi told sasuke the truth from the beginning. With him and sasuke both against it they may have been able to change their fathers mind.

If they did what you suggested they most likely still wouldve plotted to attack the leaf, but itd be harder if not impossible to stop since it would be a suprise ambush

But Danzo would try to attack the village, Itachi would've handled him with no problem. The hidden leaf village wouldn't want revenge for Danzo since nobody don't like him.

nobody liked the uchiha's and nobody knew much about danzo. if a bunch of uchiha's randomly killed a leaf elder the village would riot and go to war with them, not to mention root would most likely take revenge.

The entire coup could have been null and void if Hiruzen had just named Itaachi as his future successor. :| It's plot.

We also have Obito in hand, we all know regardless of what timeline Itachis infection will still kill him giving Obito a chance at destruction.

Move, create your own village, prepare for any war that hidden leaf village would throw at you. Then when that death toll number hit the hidden leaf village, the people gonna wonder why the 3rd hokage and danzo is going to war with the uchiha clan when they clearly not attacking the village.
