"It's FINALLY confirmed that Itachi Shin-den TV anime will start to air on March 2016 as a filler arc in Naruto Shippuden anime."

We already have 19 confirmed fille episode adding the itachi arc that will START in march it will be 30+ fillers episodes , thats insane as if they don't want to animate the kaguya arc and Naruto bs Sasuke that is really insane and illogical i mean what the ****? The itachi filler arc will at least have 10 episodes.

There was a novel written by Kishimoto about Itachi and other characters like Sakura,Gaara etc and also Sakura and Gaara novel takes place after the manga ended.

Each of the novels cover a portion of the blank period between the final two chapters and perfectly fit within the timeline that Kishimoto himself wrote.

In fact, there was an official timeline released especially for this series of novels, which is something that only "The Last: Naruto the Movie" received.
