Itachi only postponed Naruto's transformation into a villain.

Naruto will still become the FV.

So if Itachi haven't said that, Naruto would one day be the next Madara?

A villain is a misunderstood hero; a hero is a self-righteous villain.

Before Itachi appear, Naruto was basically a "self-righteous villain". Eventually Naruto would've become a misunderstood hero.
itachi was talking absolute nonsense garbage.
wishing to take on all of the hate and defeat the villains is what naruto was trying to do.
he wasnt refusing help. bee was RIGHT THERE helping.
the only way naruto turns out like madara is if life just shits on him, sakuras murdered, iruka is murdered, his village is wiped out etc.

itachi had the audacity to call konoha's saviour "the next madara" when itahci himself was practically the next madara already himself.

A hero is the guy who wins in the end.
A hero is a hero because he's the one who wrote history.
A hero, no matter what he did, shapes the future of history and paints the other guy as athe villain.

The villain has no say in history, his story comes from the perspective of 'the hero', that's because dead people tell no tales.

Shame that Itachi didn't prevent Sasuke from going on a rampage at the Five Kage Summit and killing Danzo; while exposing the secret of the Uchiha coup. A rampage Sasuke intended to bring to the Leaf village and kill everyone. A shame Itachi did nothing to stop Obito and Madara's plan, despite being a protege of Obito. Shame that Itachi didn't try to TNJ Nagato from his plan to bring peace to the world through suffering, like Naruto. Shame that Itachi never gave the Leaf village information about the Akatsuki, despite being a "spy" for the Leaf. Shame that Itachi stood by and did nothing as jinchuriki after jinchuriki were killed and their beasts extracted to revive the ten tails.

It's a shame Itachi did less for the ninja world, than his fans will admit to.

One problem with the pic. Hinata is too fodder to be Naruto's "Konan".

OP: Itachi know's all. Lol

Didn't stop the Five Kage Summit attack or Sasuke joining the Akatsuki to hunt the 8 tails. Sasuke being declared an enemy of one village, fine. The Leaf governing body could work that out. The Five Kage attack though made Sasuke an enemy of every major village in the ninja world. No one would empathize with a KA pacifised Sasuke after something like that.

Itachi knew the kind of person Obito was, and he knew Obito was the person who conspired with him to execute the rest of the Uchiha clan. Itachi's actions toward Sasuke made him and vengeful monster. Sasuke sought power and alliance with other monsters (Oro and Kabuto) to gain the strength he needed to defeat Itachi. After all that; how could Itachi not see that Obito would speak poisonous truth to Sasuke about his (Obito) and Itachi's shared crime of massacring the Uchiha? Allowing Obito to manipulate Sasuke and use him as a tool for the Akatsuki's own ends.

Also what if Pein had been successful in capturing Naruto? Then the KA crow would have been useless, since Naruto would've been killed upon Kurama's extraction. Sasuke would've still learned the truth from Obito (since the Itachi v Sasuke fight occurs before Pein v Konoha) and been set to destroy Konoha. Itachi's fail-safe crow wouldn't have been there to stop Sasuke.

The crow was INSIDE of Naruto, and could only be brought out when Naruto saw Itachi's MS (Sasuke's EMS as they were Itachi's eyes). Itachi obviously had faith that Naruto and Konoha would defeat Pein and "Madara".

I could turn around your arguments and say that Minato was a complete and utter moron for sealing Kurama in Naruto. Obito could have simply come back and taken baby Naruto with no difficulty. Moot point.

That's not a turn around. It's poking holes in the logic of character's actions in the series. Neither Itachi or Minato could see all ends to their decisions. The issue is Sasuke was a powder keg who was picked up after his fight with Itachi by Obito. Obito who is a master manipulator and knew well enough how to provoke Sasuke to get him to do what he wanted. With all the power Sasuke had amassed from Orochimaru, and Sasuke's recent awakening of the MS. Sasuke was in a far better position to destroy the ninja world alongside Obito.

Obito making a second attempt on baby Naruto is also plausible, but killing an infant at that stage in the Narutoverse, would not have had any significant impact. The elders and jonins of Konoha seemed content to let Naruto do his own thing through childhood and adolesence. No one really had a plan for Naruto to ever become the great ninja he is now. Jiraiya doesn't count since he was not in the village for long spans of time, and Kakashi only cared about training the genius Sasuke.
