Shikamaru is dependant on his intelligence way more than Itachi, because itachi is so powerful. If Itachi is pushed to the point where he actually has to plan things out, he is just as brilliant as Shikamaru, so Itachi>Shikamaru.

O/t: I say shikamaru, he is said to plan out 200 alternative strategies that's ridiculous. Plus shika doesn't have any insight advantages like the sharingan yet he still easily on itachi's level - which would make him overall better.

I say Shikamaru but it depends on how much time they are given. If you let Shikamaru just sit somewhere and strategize he is better but it seems Itachi can plan ahead on shorter time with less accuracy than Shikamaru.

Bruh...he planned ahead for sasuke. It failed cus sasuke is so f***in unpredictable.

Itachi is better. Shikamaru is a great planner though but he mostly plans at that moment

Kakashi was more experienced than sasuke at the time...now sasuke has clearly surpassed kakshi wi tee h the sharingan
