It was twice indicated that Itachi has an unknown, huge-scale puppeteering genjutsu.
Shikaku believed only Itachi could possibly mimic the huge impact White Zetsu were having across the world.
Ao argue that it was too much, even for Itachi though. But screw Ao.
It was indicated that Itachi's Tsukuyomi can make puppets of even ridiculously strong & skilled ninja:
Kabuto closing his eyes throughout the battle lends more credit to Itachi's ridiculous genjutsu power.
It was twice indicated that his Tsukuyomi can literally kill people if Itachi wants.
Indicating Itachi has killed people with a glance before.
Even Kakashi knew Itachi had the capacity to do so, but chose not to for some reason.
Itachi is a highly mobile genjutsu user.
It was indicated that Itachi can predict and plan out every aspect of his fights.
Itachi's 'mind-reading' is perhaps his greatest and most overlooked skill.

Itachi can curve kunai into even tiny blindspots (his enemies ALWAYS ought to avoid looking at him.)
Hell, Sage Jiraiya, Fuksaku, Shima, and smoke bombs were having a rough time finding those blinspots:
His hands are so fast that Sharingan Sasuke needs the lightning-draw-summon just to counter:
And not to pile on, but Itachi also made a clone during all this that was too fast for Sasuke to see.
And Zetsu said Itachi was moving slower than he normally did.
His clones/shunshin are likewise impossibly fast (Kurenai called him superhuman in this regard.)
Implying greater short bursts of speed than the Sharingan.
His speed can give multiple full-Sharingan users & perfect Sages a bit of a hassle.
The author shows off his shunshin every so often, but Bee's the best example.

But Itachi got a crow to just chill it, and even use base genjutsu & the Mangekyō?
Could Itachi have made his own medicine that extended his life?

Obito has all of Madara's knowledge, and yet Itachi's sealing of Mangekyō traps amazed & baffled him?

He says they all awoke that day (Sasuke's Amaterasu, Susano'o, etc. awoke intermittently.)
After killing his clan, he used Tsukuyomi on Sasuke (and didn't seem tired.)
