Itachi may be overrated, but here's some hype that's almost always overlooked:

It's not literal mind-reading, but it does surpass Uchiha dōjutsu‎ in insight (according to Kabuto.)

1- In 2minutes, Minato was able to notice Tobi wasn't Madara. In decades Itachi never knew Tobi wasn't Madara despite the guy having being his mentor for quite some time. In fact, he got fooled by the guy so badly that Tobi knew almost everything concerning Itachi without him even noticing

2- Not trying to involve Minato in this, but Minato has shown a similar capacity if not greater than Itachi when he was able to read thru Bee's heart just after seeing him once, knowing the real reason behind his strength, something that A only noticed decades after during this war, he knew Tobi would be the cause of disaster after observing him, like he predicted Naruto would be the one to save the world. Minato actually despite being much less present in this manga than Itachi, has shown greater feats in terms of insight abilities or seeing thru people

lmfao i love this guy. are you forgetting the fact that itach met obito at a young age? obito was pretty convincing that he was madara so you cant blame itachi for not noticing considering the fact that itachi was influenced by obito for years so itachi had no reason to consider him being a fake madara.

It was a really nice thread on Itachi's skills. The only points that I disagree with is the Medic and Fuinjutsu section.
The title of Genius Medical-Nin belongs to Tsunade, who created the Medical and Laws that the entire Shinobi world applies in everyday and military aspects. The Fuinjutsu and sealing aspect is also associated with the Uzumakis, as almost all of them were killed and destroyed for their skill in Fuinjutsu.
