Wait what? Looking at the title I thought this was a itachi> Jiriyah thread but it turned out to be a ridiculously opinionated comparison. if tsukoyomi could one shot the first hokage madara really wouldn't have struggled with him.

What if Amaterasu is just Itachi's, and after his and sasuke's fight now sasuke's. Honestly, besides their two sharingans no other MS has shown any similar ability except Madara's Susanoo. Nagato can use his all 6 peins to corner itachi but it just gives itachi chance to cast his genjutsu on all of them at once.

He was sick, dying and still had chakra left after sasuke ran out, kakashi said sasuke had more then him and Naruto had way more. I ask that everyone go review the Manga and see what almost everyone in it says about Itachi. Pay attention to his fights and his goal. Itachi controlled all his fights, every single second of it. Why would Itachi waste a Tsukuyomi on Sasuke knowing he might have to fight Jiraiya seconds later? Because he knew Jiraiya had nothing for him. He could do what he wanted. All the while pulling off the bad guy act without killing anybody and I still hear fans saying he's terrible for terrorizing a 6yr old and helping Akatsuki with the beasts, but like I said before he played his role well and when he couldn't do it any more he passed it on to sasuke.

Nagato is hard to judge? Not really. Equal/Superior in every single area EXCEPT Intelligence. 6 v 1, with 2 paths that can completely nullify his ninjutsu aren't good odds for Itachi. Izanami is as good as useless, as he isn't a wannabe, and his beliefs and ideals aren't flimsy. There's some debate whether or not Tsukiyomi would even be effective against the 6PoP, even if it is, who is to say that Nagato can't break it outright? Seems like the superior Dojutsu and an ability that likely counters it is easily enough giving this to Nagato.

I believe that Itachi can beat Minato.

Sharingan can see through genjutsu yet sasuke couldn't. In fact most of you guys don't see through it. I'm telling you its not fanboyism. You know a regular Uchiha is an Elite among none Uchihas.
