If he summons all the big toads at once i don't kno if the dome would big enough especially if jiraya uses the down the house jutsu where the frog jumps from the sky, but the frogs are big and can swallow him to let him breathe and then take him out of the dome or break him out of there by breaking the water dome with all of them using their swords. If kisame fuses with samehada and tries to suck up sm jiraya's chakra he would turn into stone becos he hasn't been trained to absorb natural chakra.

People don't appreciate Kisame for how strong he was. He was said to be the strongest of the seven swordsman and his nickname was The Tailless Tailed Beast. I adore Jiraya don't get me wrong about that but I think the two of them are to much for him.

and plus the first fight we saw with b vs kisame was just a zetsu using only thirty percent of kisame's chakra i believe(not sure if that was 100% accurate tho.
And jiryah in sage mode would only be even with an MS user considering that it was imperfected...And kisame's raw strength is almost equal to the sixth gates if i am remembering correctly

the question is not who would be the winner, but what damage they can do together...but in my opinion, either a tie, or itachi and kisame would barley win
Stupid. This guy truly believes that whatever is said in the manga should be taken at face value. No underlying themes, or lies, or hidden messages. Stupid person is stupid. It seems very clear that Itachi was trying to reduce damage done to Konoha by making that statement.

It would be very close, (have there been any battles that aren't and how booring would that be?) but unpleasant for both. First we know Jiraiya is a total perv and Itachi looks like a chick (Sasuke more so) in dire need of botox for those lines and he wears a dress. Kisame is sushi. Jiraiya would become confused and try to take Itachi out for seafood which would result in embarassment for all and likely death for Jiraiya.
But why do you think that is it because he has sage mode. If Itachi really had intention in killing him he wouldn't because he wants to protect the leaf but he really did have intentions he could kill him with susano and Kisame probably has like an ultimate attack but unfortunately we couldn't see it. Maybe Kabuto brings Kisame alive and we get to see it.

jiraya is also underrated becos he lost to pain which was a fight anyone who didn't have info would have lost. He didn't even kno that there were 6 paths for a while in his battle. Jiraya with sagemode is damn powerful and doesn't run out of it like naruto, so i think he has a good chance in beating kisame 1v1 but he can't beat Itach is way too good.
Itachi alone could beat him . Remember Itachi just like Kimmimorro were suffering from life threating disease . Thats how the ones to strong to be beat one on one always die . Itachi may be in the top 5 of strongest shinobi ever !! Kisame has chakra levels the same as a tailed beast . Could heal his own wounds, take opponets chakra and merge with samehada . Fought on par with Bee. And if not tired may have beat might guy . Kisame and Itachi are the strongest tag team
