Dude haha I just found you a script from the manga and you're basically calling me a fanboy for stating a fact FROM THE MANGA lol. Either you hate Jiraiya or you don't read the manga. Itachi Uchiha could solo by himself if he didn't waste his Mangekyo powers fighting Kakashi, Sasuke. Just admit Jiraiya isn't all you hype him up to be, and would lose in this scenario.

i dont know what you're talking about here. itachi and kisame both said that they couldnt get out of a battle with jiraiya 1v1 alive. its foolish of you to call them liars because they know their powers better than you do. stop saying they were lying just because you think they are and because you think they could beat jiraiya 1v1. they said they couldnt so for now they cant thats the bottomline.

and i never said susanoo cant beat jiraiya. as a matter of fact it can but it wont. susanoo is a jutsu with a very specific range. it anchors the user to the ground and keeps them from moving at anything but a slow pace. all jiraiya would have to do is get out of range which shouldnt be that hard considering he is incredibly fast and he has toads that can jump really far away. as soon as jiraiya is out of range susanoo is useless for everything but defense. but as itachi displayed against sasuke he cant use susanoo for very long before he collapses. so as i said before jiraiya doesnt have to kill itachi he just has to take him to his limits and itachi will die on his own like he did against sasuke. itachi using susanoo only puts him to his limits faster and thus dies faster.

itachi's susanoo may be his greatest advantage but it is also his greatest disadvantage as it is the death of him. susanoo wont kill jiraiya because jiraiya is too smart to stay within range of it. but as i've already stated itachi and kisame together would beat jiraiya. but either one of them 1v1 against jiraiya, i say jiraiya wins.

what was the point of this post? i already said itachi and kisame together can beat jiraiya. and dont bring up jiraiya losing to 3/6 paths because that means nothing. jiraiya went in to a battle with no knowledge of his opponent and was able to win and only when the other paths came back was jiraiya defeated. it is incredibly difficult to beat an opponent that you know nothing about and jiraiya was able to do it, but then he lost to all six if i remember correctly. so i dont know what you're talking about being beat by 3 of them jiraiya was killed when all six were present. nagato is better than itachi that why rinnegan>sharingan. nagato stated that if jiraiya knew his abilities jiraiya would win. itachi and kisame said they would lose to jiraiya. again you are determining a victor based on what you assume to be the capabilities of the fighters when the fighters themselves (who know their capabilities better than anyone else) said who would be the victor for us. itachi and kisame said they would lose so i dont know why you think they would win. you can keep going right along thinking that what you think is actually right and that what the naruto characters think is actually wrong i wont stop you but people will start to respect you less

1. susanoo: as i already said jiraiaya can get out of range so offensively it wont be a problem defensively it is unbeatable but as i said itachi cant use it for long
2. amaterasu: sasuke was able to dodge this attack for a short while so sage mode jiraiya, who is a lot faster than sasuke, can dodge it as well
3. tsukuyomi: jiraiya has ma and pa on his shoulders who gather nature chakra and continually put it in to jiraiya thereby disturbing his own chakra continuously which means not just tsukuyomi but all genjutsu are useless. and the stuff about amaterasu only taking a second doesnt matter because nature chakra is continuously going in to jiraiya which will cancel tsukuyomi in immediately in under a second.
Basic itachi

5. taijutsu: jiraiya is by far stronger in sage mode than itachi is. furthermore itachi may be able to read jiraiya's movements but itachi wont be able to dodge since jiraiya can use frog kumite which will hit itachi
