I would agree that im giving itachi a bad name and i would usually not create a thread like this but i got sick of all the madara and hashirama are strongest threads and got to thinking and yes itachi is strongest considering he uses shisuis genjutsu, without it no he is not but is still extremely powerful

Someone please explain to me how itachi using shisui's genjutsu does not beat madara or hashirama?

because he can only use it once every 10 years or so...lolz...so he only gonna fight once every 10 years??:sy:

I am not close minded or a fanboy i simply believe that if itachi were to use shisuis genjutsu he would win or if he used tsukyumi (not 100 percent sure about that though). Hi im sorry to say but madara is not the strongest ninja and guess what neither is Hashirama. The amount of madara threads and hashirama threads being created and the amount of people saying madara is strongest or hashirama is strongest. No your wrong Itachi is the strongest. You people need to accept it.

That isn't how an argument works, YOU are claiming something, therefor YOU have to explain why what you are presenting is true. You can't claim something, then say "prove me wrong" as your only support of said claim.

well you going into the "what ifs"....what matters is he cant use it every time... example: what if kakashi has very very large chakara reserves ala madara/nagato....he would just spam kaumi....

No disrespect to the author of this thread, but his assertion that Itachi is the strongest ninja is illogical.

First, if Itachi could end a fight before it even starts then why did he not do such a thing in his long, drawn out fight with Kabuto?

Second, Naruto is a progressive series, much like Dragon Ball Z, meaning that the skill/strength level of major antagonists increases exponentially as the series progresses in time. (i.e. Itachi is stronger than Orochimaru; Pain was stronger than Itachi; therefore, as a rule of logic, Edo Madara is stronger than both Pain and Itachi.) That said, your statement, in Dragon Ball Z terms, is like saying that Freiza is more powerful than Cell or Majin Bu, for example.

nagato would put up a hell of a fight but at the end he would lack mobilaty to defeat itachi n no itachi wouldnt one hit ko nagato..im an itachi fan but i give lots of creadit to nagato,
Minato against itachi would b a hell of a fight both have shown alot of love n respect for theyre village, n both died protecting it, they also show that they can think and act accoding too. this one is fairly even.

There is not such a thing like "logic" in this manga. Cuz we never know what could happen tomorrow. Today you can see Kisame far more stronger than Guy, but tomorrow you see Guy beating him like it was nothing. You can see Killer-Bee overpowered as hell against Taka and tomorrow got almost owned by Kisame. We never know what could happen in a battle if it hasn't take place, but we could make assumptions about what we've seen from characters. But the only one who knows who is stronger than who is the author of the manga(Kishimoto in our case), who is like the god of this manga and for Kishimoto, Minato was considered as the strongest. He said that even since the beginning of this manga and even countless time.

So no, we can't say Blaze Release or Owarij as the most logical since they only say their opinion. They make their own assumption and tell who is stronger from their point of view

Now, there are some characters who have more screen time than other. It's the case of Itachi in the contrary of Minato(only one fight). That's why i find it always funny the way some people compare them and ignore what Kishimoto says. Cuz we know almost nothing about what Minato is capable of when we have full knowledge on Itachi and we already claim who is stronger. Kishimoto already said who was the strongest
