Depends. Since you weren't here back in 2013, you have no idea. But now, I'll have to agree with you, when Minato fans spout third grade rubbish that Base Minato beats MS Itachi - it really cracks one up.

He's overrated by far,and I don't see why,but some of the shit itachi fans say like.."itachi solo's minato" or "itachi solo's nagato" or itachi > madara or obito or kabuto,these characters who would trash itachi any day of the week at anytime, makes me not only die laughing, but makes seriously believe that they suffer from a mental retardation that surpasses that of a bloodline expansion,waaaaay over 9000.

You're wasting your time. People on this base are already too irate that Itachi went through the entire manga effortlessly defeating everyone he encountered.
That's the problem; the fact that Itachi was so powerful that no one, not even their fave, could put up a respectable fight before being put down. So they try their best to slander his name shouting and screaming "Itachi would lose to this and that guy med diff". The Itachi hate has gotten so bad that people believe Deidara, orochimaru, kakashi, coincidentally all people who itachi effortlessly defeated, would beat him low/mid diff.
Save your breath and let the haters simmer in their anger. The simple fact is, Kishimoto showed itachi throughout the manga effortlessly soloing(defeating without external help, for the dumbasses who don't know the meaning of 'solo' fighting) character after character. That pisses them off the most because they have 0 manga evidence to ever support that their fave can beat itachi let alone push him to mid diff; while itachi has a rap sheet of feats, hype and character speculation that he defeats even some of the most power S-Class ninja with the utmost ease.
People need to get over their flaming butthurt already. Who gets this upset over pen and ink for years? Just wow.

I dont think he's overrated. There is just not enough information about him.. From what I've seen of Itachi is that he doesn't "show off". He has strategies for almost every situations and even has numerous backupsplans depending on the opponent. I would say that he is the most well prepared ninja with the foresight to predict what will happen using his knowledge, analytical skills, environment, and opponant. I would almost compare him to Batman. Works on the shodows, very skilled, Off the charts intelligence, humble, loyal, will do whatever it took for his belief. Like Batman is seen as equals to Superman, Wonderwoman, and the Flash; I see Itachi in the same league with Madara, Hashirama, and Tobirama. Had he lived to fight in the war, I believe he would be assisting to defeat Madara directly... My opinion.

Itachi never ment to harm anyone so he never even used his full power, even Kakashi admitted that he didn't even go full out against him and he was already owning Kurenai and Kakashi...
Itachi has the brains, the tools, the techniques and the skills to defeat anyone...
It has been stated many times not to fight an Uchiha in a 1v1 but Itachi is even a Genius amongst his own clan which means he's even more dangerous...
Everyone here just bashes on Itachi because of his low Stamina but he even outlasted Sasuke in his battle (with NO intention to kill him, can you imagine) who is praised to have an OUTSTANDING Stamina reserve even amongst the Uchiha clan... and Itachi is smart enough to know that he doesn't have much Stamina and uses it the way it should be used...

exactly this. i hardly see anybody underratting him. so we mean it by saying he's overated. then you list some feats fueling the overrating
