Why did he use Tsukiyomi on Kakashi?

On one hand, he talks about hating violence, hating to live in times of war etc. On the other hand, he makes people [Sasuke twice; Kakashi once] experience the pain of being stabbed over and over again; or watching corpses fall over for 72 hours!

There are two problems with this:

1) Itachi inflicted needless violence on Kakashi, and arguably Sasuke too.
2) Anyone who has an imagination to control space and time to make a person experience pain non-stop for 72 hours has some mental issues.

I am now going to grab some popcorn while you phanbois get all worked up and try to defend Itachi.

P.S. I did not create this thread to hate/flame. I am just sick of people praising Itachi here. :p Imagine Itachi as your nephew, he killing you because you are a part of his clan. Remember that Uchiha clan had many civilians too, like the old lady and gentleman that were killed. For more details on why I argue the way I argue, check this post:

Itachi used Tsukiyomi on Kakashi because
a) He enjoys torturing people
b) He wanted to show off regarding how bad off he was. There were tons of way to disable Kakashi without using Tsukiyomi. Don't make it look like Itachi had no other choice.

You're basing your whole argument on that? Itachi could've tortured him in real life too and even kill him...

Well, he DID torture him in REAL life. Why? Torture is always a mental thing. Pain is always experienced in the mind. Genjutsu works on the mind, therefore the torture was absolutely real.

I am going to base my whole argument based on this, because to me everything else that Itachi did:
1) Killing his family
2) Torturing his brother
etc. are ALSO evil, but you guys will SOMEHOW justify those acts of violence. The one act of Itachi that cannot be justified logically by even the greatest Itachilover is "Kakashi's needless torture"

I didn't read it. I don't really care about this topic. I won't change your opinion you won't change mine. Plus I'm tired. It's 3:51 am where I'm at, I'm just bored as hell.

Dude the itachi fanboys/girls are coming imma just sit back nd enjoy the show
I wish Lord Itachi were generous enough to make his fanboys understand the power of the uchiha clan; by demonstrating to them first hand the efficacy of Tsukiyomi.:p Let's see if they remain his fanbois after the demonstration!
