He was afraid to confront his problems head on he took the ET route and claimed it for glory. Instead of trying to resolve the problems of his clan he turned his back on them and killed them all. He was to afraid to take the risk and go against orders which was obviously needed in that situation to stop a rebellion. He was to afraid to call others for help and instead joined the very person who he KNEW was trying to destroy the village! Itachi is vain glory as well considering he made sasuke kill him instead of living with the choices he made he wished for his own death. Itachi is a coward I don't care if somehow obito gets mentioned whatever you have to say about him is probably true.

Really? :l

The uchiha's would have been wiped out with thousands of other people...
He chose quantity over quality

That makes him quite a hero. :c

Quite a hero to who? He betrayed his family and didnt even try to stop the rebellion in that he said he willingly aided tobi.

He is, He's a crybaby coward piece of shit who killed his family. He knew what Danzo was capable of so I understand why he was afraid but I don't understand why he just didn't take the problems to the public even if he had the Danzo curse seal which I don't think so considering he talked with Hiruzen and threaten to reveal secrets to the enemies, him openly opposing Danzo would have brought alot of change and a better out come than what happened. He was just a ***** who took orders instead finding the will to save his village and family from a corrupt poser like Danzo

Itachi is a junk that hadn't retaliated for Shisui who REALLY could have stopped the clan peacefully, but Danzo, these Senjus and other weak b*tches stopped him, WHICH clearly shows their position in THIS SITUATION...

No. And,
He was, undoubtedly a hero. Stated by kishimoto.

If Hashirama just Soloed the other nations, the Uchiha rebellion would have less severe consequences.

1) He didnt chose not to resolve things with his clan, it was past that point. His clan were in the end stages of planning their coup de tat and Konoha was getting ready to come down on them. He knew that he couldnt convince his claim to stop because they were too prideful, exemplified by the speech he gives the Uchiha that accuse him of killing Shishui, and he knew if they went ahead with the coup they would all die and many innocents would have been killed in the process. So he chose to safe the pride of his family and his little brother. Less they go down in history as corrupt power hungry traitors.

2) He let Sasuke live in hatred for 2 reasons:

A) He wanted Sasuke to be prideful of being an Uchiha, if he hadnt left then Sasuke would have known what his family were plotting against the leaf and would have been shamed. He didnt want Sasuke to resent his family.

B) He needed Sasuke be strong as many people would have attempted to kidnap or kill him just to get his Sharingan, Orochimaru is a prime example.

3) Admittedly Itachi questions whether the choices he made were really the correct ones, but all in all he had no options and no time. Its hard to question the judgement of a person under that kind of pressure.
