Itachi wouldnʻt have even got the kyuubi out of kushina. He canʻt slip through walls, therefore he canʻt get the slip on all the guards there and then he would have had to go through minato first (at which point heʻd get destroyed).

In this situation Itachi is 6-7 years old so if you're talking about 18-19 year old Itachi from part 1 then that makes Minato much much stronger for being alive all of those years and he was already stronger than Itachi before that. Speedsters>Sharingan Sasuke proved this 3 times and Izuna did onces and died.

1) Itachi doesn't know the seal to releasing the by, nor putting a kyuubi inside of a host in a genjustu.

2) Even if the kyuubi comes out on its own somehow, he would go blind from controlling the kyuubi after like a few minutes.

3) Itachi can't use tsukyomi, Amatersu, and Susanoo without dying from no stamina.

4) Fighting minato while controlling the kyuubi to fight Hiruzen/villagers is impossible for Itachi.

It would be blind itachi vs. minato (if he makes it that far)

And minato would win easily.
