Why did Itachi run away from Nagato if he could of got Nagato without blinding him/Kabuto?
He ran away because he knew that he couldnt face Nagato head on even if he was a brainless cripple and after that he hit Nagato from behind because Kabuto didnt know Nagatos summons were killed

We can discuss about whether Tobi is stronger or not, but both respected each other. Tobi didn't use them as a tool, he actually quite respected their sacrifices for the moon eye plan. I can't remember the chapter but he said to zetsu "Deidera, Sasori, Kakuzu, Hidan (etc etc)" It's because of all their sacrifices we've achieved so much, their sacrifices didn't go to waste" something like dat.

So why Kishi didn't do Orochimaru max potnetial vs Itachi? Why didn't Kishi do Itachi vs Kabuto, why'd he add Sasuke? Kishi has never put Itachi against a super powerful opponent for some reason.

see y cant people have a discussion like this guy. youve made some very good points, heres what i think.

i think it would b safe to assume that when orochimaru was in akatsuki that he was pretty close to max potential. when itachi cut off orochishand and put him under a genjutsu i think thats was kishis way of telling the fans that orochi wasnt on par with itachi and if they were to fight he kinda hints that itachi could win. During the sasuke itachi battle i think it would of been dumb for a pretty much dead itachi to fight a rejuvinated orochi, besides the battle was suppose to focus on sasuke and itachi

the reason kabuto/itachi never happened was that before kabuto acquired orochis cells he was a weakling and im poistive itachi would have won. the reason he didnt fight in the cave when kabutowas in sage mode was because they were tryingto capture kabuto not kill him, because if itachi kills him the edo tensei will never end.

the reason it wasnt just itachi and kabuto was that sasuke followed itachi there to get answers,and when you really think about sasuke didnt really do all that much in the fight itachi protected him a lot, the purpose of sasuke being there was so after the edo tensei was released itachi could tell him the truth and how he really felt about his younger broher.

as to y kishi never put him in a huge fight idk, amyb he just wanted a character that had power but wasnt the kind to go showing it off but for me i doesnt take away anything from itachi he was a beast until the very end

kabuto couldnt dodge it because nagato lacked the mobility. look at the other edo tensei who have no problem dodging in their fight. sasori and deidara had no problem dodgingin their fight with kankuro and sai, hanzo had no problem with mifune, it was justa simple factor of nagato not being able to walk that led to his downfall
