"itachi killed his lover but couldn't his brother" something like that
it wasn't referring to his parents because obito referred to them afterwards soooo...............
I also checked the manga and it was there too

No, everyone pretty much likes him or is indifferent. People like to troll as well. We all know he didn't have aids (just plot disease, lol. That nerf) and that he was straight. He and Shisui were confirmed to be best friends (close like brothers) and nothing more than that. Kisame was just a comrade.

Either way, if you ask any Japanese speaker about what was meant by "lover", they'll tell you that it was just some girl Itachi would be set up to marry in the distant future. Meaning that they probably weren't even close, he just knew who Fugaku picked out for him. The Uchiha clan is pretty old-fashioned.

Also, the fandom has known this since 2008. This is very old news, like 6 years ago. Why bring it up now?

I saw it in the manga but my brother said it was probably some translating mistake.....I got convinced when I saw the episode :O

Kishimoto stated in an RTN interview that he had fan girls. He's confirmed to be straight. To top it off, this isn't shonen-ai. He ended up single, didn't have time to screw around. The only people in this manga that were close to being gay are Deidara, and then there are some homosexual innuendos with Naruto and Sasuke (though Sasuke seems pretty asexual and cares for his goals, while Naruto is perverted and has shown interest in women, so even they're not gay).
