Itachi for Hokage!

Hi!

I would like to ask you something.
Let's imagine a different time-line, where Itachi were a loyal ANBU, and spied upon the Uchiha. Then one night, some strong S-class ninja sneak upon Konoha and killed all of the Uchihas. Well, most of them, because when they last arrived to Itachis family, he managed to kill all of them. So only 4 Uchiha survived that night, Sasuke, Itachi, and their parents.
Now we jump some in time, where unfortunately the Third Hokage were killed by Orochimaru. The village needs a new Hokage and now we have Itachi. The Elders know, that he is loyal to Konoha, and there's no threat from the Uchiha clan anyomore. We all know, that Itachi is clever, strong, patient and strong willed.

What do you think, could be Itachi the Fifth Hokage at that time? Why not?

+:We should add thath Jiraiya searches for Tsunade anyway, they (he and Naruto) bring her back and Tsunade cures Itachis disease, so he can live longer.

**:No, in this case Itachi wouldn't have MS, because he weren't the one who killed Shisui.

Well I always had this crazy theory of Itachi surviving the fight with Sasuke and returning to Konoha as 6th Hokagexd But it's too late for that any way now because of the current plot in the mangaxd

doubt it the elders really liked Jiraiya and he was the one that told them to put Tsunade as hokage,

i dont think he would of become hokage either way, plis id rather Tsunade there as hokage tbh

if he is loyal (in anycase he is ) , itachi loved his village ahead of his clan
thats d greatest quality i luked in hokage...

(4th minato has d same quality too)
