ot: He would just spam Yasaka Magatama 2 more times, the attack takes a few moments to generate and he was far away from CT...clones aren't needed. He was an Edo and wouldn't feel stamina drawbacks so he could create them quickly. Or, he could just use Totsuka to slice the CT (considering Sasuke used his own Susano'o sword to cut CT) or seal it. However, this goes against the entire "I will no longer do everything on my own" theme that was the point of Edo Itachi. Everything he did as an Edo had to involve some teamwork. No matter how small or great it would be. We know that he could do things on his own.

Yasaka Magatamas are weak. Even if Itachi used 3 Yasaka Magatamas, they would do no damage to CT. Also Itachi was pretty close to CT at that time, so he wouldn't have time to make three.

He simply creates Shadow Clones and then he throws a Yasaka Magatama on the Orb while the remaining shadow clones will just jump to Orb and start exploding via Itachi's clone explosion thus destroying the Chibaku Tensei

Btw im not saying Itachi>Nagato so dont get the wrong idea

Some problems.

1. How powerful are the Exploding Shadow Clones? KN6's Bijuudama wasn't enough to stop Chibaku Tensei.

2. Itachi has below-average chakra, and each Shadow Clones divides his chakra evenly. Will he even have enough chakra left to use Susanoo for Yasaka Magatama?

3. What is the purpose of Yasaka Magatama in this strategy, anyway?

Nope. Like what someone said, it took 3 s-rank jutsu's to destroy 1 s-rank jutsu.
Specifically, Magatama, Bijuu bomb and Rasenshuriken.
There's no way in hell Itachi clones can destroy Nagato's CT orb!

Yasaka Magatama aren't even that powerful. A Bijuudama or Rasenshuriken would had reduced Tsunade to nothing, but Yasaka Magatama just pushed her back.
