After I saw them talking I realized that kabuto doesn't have them in the battle, they seem to be walking in the woods somewhere. Them two being some of the most powerful shinobi, wouldn't it helped the war for madara if they were actually fighting?? So my question is what do you think kabuto has them doing?
Itachi and Pain, What are Kabuto's plans for them.

well uh hes dead and nagato was a cool but dumb guy, he was easily decieved by madara.

Maybe saving them for madara like said above, or sending them in to take out the high ranking alliance leaders, like itachi said, together they can do pretty much anything.
i agree with prof. Saru - i mean the 2 of them together, are a proportion of the sages power's - once kabuto has finished what he wants to do with itachi and nagato - his last coffin will come into play - and i believe its the sot6p first son - - -

kabutos goal is sasuke now remeber the deal he made with madara, and one thing itachi and nagato dont even compare to madara's power just remeber how long madara has been around, also remeber itachi's amaterasu could'nt even kill him. I think madara is hiding alot of tricks up his sleve we really hav'nt seen much of what madara can do. I also think naruto is the reincarnation of the six path sage, if you notice when naruto transforms into his new transformation around his neck the patern is the same as the six path sage's necklace
i think that those too will initially be for behind the scenes stuff like getting info and causing disorder among the army, THEN he's gonna have them wreck the army personally, all itachi has to do is look at an entire squad from a hill or something and they're pretty much a pile of ash after that

The most logic choice would be, to have them in reserve for fighting madara or sasuke..

I think it's to wipe out the medic ninja's and stuff. Try to use the strongest and weaken the weakest force of the Alliance, but maybe they will run into naruto and Naruto will have a talk with them.

Hopefully Kabuto doesn't waste them.. I'd like to see more exciting matchups.. Itachi vs Kakashi, Naruto vs Nagato.. It just seems such a waste the way hes spent most of his impure world resurrections.
Probally to use against madara but, backfires for the fact that the break free, remember Orichimaru? He wanted sharingan badly, he knew the revival jutsu, he probaly didnt use it to revive a uchiha because they couldnt be controlled.
