true but what is weirder to me is that no one answered Sarada directly. I mean Sakura could've answered that herself. Whether it is a lie or not wouldn't matter because to us as an audience, we would see it only in Sarada's perspective. We won't know the backstory, only that Sakura says that she is her biological mother.
the fact that this goes on to the point where Sarada asks the entire village and no one seems to know so that they'd have to ask Sasuke directly was absurd. Sakura could've just ended it right there and then but nope we have to meet Sasuke and ask him who mother is.
Then they got to that point in which Sasuke doesn't answer that question and pretty much left it all alone and be brooding.
To the point where Naruto just says "hey, she is your mother, biological or not. she raised you and that's enough to make you plebby and start shouting 'shanaroo' right before you punch things" to simplify: "screw it, she's your mother now, just deal with it"

Yeah, the way they kept waltzing around the direct answer was irritating. Suigetsu too, just leapt to his conclusion (just because it was Sarada's cord it wouldn't automatically mean Karin was the mother). Manufactured drama all around :|

we are all suigetsu. I mean seriously. If Gaiden was not to hint Sarada's biological mother to be Karin, then it was absolutely pointless.
there are better ways to introduce her sharingan, better way to let us audience to know what Sasuke and Naruto has been doing.

Also the way that they showed us the Shin clones was something too. I was really hoping that that was the Boruto manga because they could have expanded on that.
We could've found out who made those Shins, we can speculate Oro but highly unlikely due to being constantly surveillance and Kabuto but he had been touched by Itachi-sama so I really doubt he could resist him.

Shins were made by Orochi to make an arm for Danzou.

They just so happened to wait a long time to seek revenge for Itachi or something.

I don't care much for them but I certainly don't like the SS pairing. If anything, Sakura should be paired with either Naruto or Lee.
I prefer Lee as they both complement each other.

Sasuke can marry Karin because they had history and a good one at that. That's the reason why I consider the pairing to begin with, also genetics.

But if anything, Sasuke and Hanabi would be a good pair. IDK about the age difference but it shouldn't matter since they are much older now

Gaiden was more of a way to get SS fans to close their eyes to the whole ordeal. Kishimoto preoccupied them so much with who was the mother, they stopped caring HOW the hell Sasuke and Failkura became a thing. It was drama done to simply give SS fans a hollow victory for them to be satisifed with their trash pairing being canon (These people aren't so hard to please, consdiering they eat up Sasuke simple smiling lmao).

Still, with how much Sakura and Sasuke were avoiding the question, the DNA test, and the question of why the actual hell would Sakura leave Uchiha DNA in Orochimaru's labs, when mothers are usually the ones to keep that stuff, it's still up in the air who Salad's mother could be.
