Just when I thought that it was over
The girl from the past returned
And told me that it wasn't yet time to rollover
Apparently Heaven's court has not yet adjourned

So I'm getting another chance
Not just to live but to give me life meaning
I thought we'd had our last dance
But I should have known that's not how heaven was leaning

There were times when I wanted to fill my head with lead
But it wasn't yet my time to let it all go
No it was time for me to take it all back instead
The storm was almost over but I thought I was lost in the snow

Now I've got everything I ever wanted back in stock
The girl of my dreams and even my son
Oh but he's a chip off the old block
So all the haters out there had better run

So I thought it was over
But Heaven saved me from my own personal hell
And it was not my time to roll on over
It was my time to once again make everything well​
