Let's take a moment to think about it for a minute. Naruto, and even all of Team 7's, progression has been incredibly quick.

Now, we know that no one in KA is a 'genius' and none of them came out super strong at a very young age( I'm looking at you itachi, kakashi, etc) but, their progression has been exponential none the less.

Now, this is taken off Naruto WIki; Naruto, sasuke, and sakura were all roughly 13 years old when they really started on team 7. When we look back on them, then, can we say that they were anything special? **** no... They were complete and utter failures compared to the likes of zabuza, kakashi, itachi, madara, minato, and a heap load of those other geniuses who perfected their skills at around that age. Infact, among all these useless trash, Sasuke was 'the best'. Naruto was an all around utter failure, Sakura was an 'academic genius' but practical failure, and sasuke was an all around 'genius' of his time but not in retrospect to all these other geniuses, especially the others in the top 10.
Sure, Sasuke first unlocked his 1 tomoe when he was like 8 or some shit, but he only first started using it during the haku battle. Naruto on the otherhand was complete and utter useless trash out of the academy -- no offence to his fans but you can't deny that manga fact -- with the shittiest grades and some of the shittiest skills, compounded by being a complete moron. <------ I'm stressing this to bring my following point across.

So, let's see what we have here;

How in gods name was such rapid progression possible? At their exact same age kakashi was a jounin, itachi was anbu ready to kill his village, Madara and Hashirama were either leading or close to leading their clans, zabuza was a demon of the mist, etc... But, in 2-3 years... Yes, 2-3 ****ing years, Naruto, sasuke and Sakura have attained that much progression? They went From Complete fodder to pseudo-god tier? No other person in K11 is even close to that level of progression. The best of K11, Neji, was probably still struggling at jouning level.
Infact, it's more surprising for sakura than any of the other 2 because she is absolutely normal. She has no uchiha lineage, No Senju, uzumaki lineage, or a demon living in her. She's just normal. Yet, Sakura's closing on par with a Sanin, Sasuke's completely and utterly surpassed his brother and closing in on naruto, while naruto is closing in on/surpassed EMS madara. The most messed up part is that Team 7 has had almost negligible years of training or experience in respect to these guys. Unlike team 7 and their 2-3 years of training, these other guys have had 15+ years of hard training and being some of the best of the best. Infact, if we go further and compare team 7 to the rest of their year and even some people from other villages, around their generation, apart from sakura, Team 7 completely spits in all their faces and shits on them. Right now, bar obito, there's no alive shinobi stronger than Naruto and Sasuke - and that's including a jin with far more years of experience, A plethora of S-Class shinobi and Kage, etc. Even for sakura, among the alive shinobi, if we restrict the kage, she's easily within the top 10, maybe even top 5 for that matter if you try to stretch it. At this rate(considering Sasuke, and possibly sakura, have another powerup waiting for them) Naruto and Sasuke would be all time top 2 by the time they're 18 -- 1 year time -- with Sakura somewhere within the top 5...

¬¬NB SO6P doesn't count. He's pretty featless bar that moon thing. For all we know, Nagato could do the exact same thing on a full pool of chakra.

i see what ur saying however... i must point out..

even though they were relatively 'bad' in part one the difference compared to all the others is that they had a sannin guide them for 3 years straight doing non stop training... where as the others had to share a sensei with 2 other people meaning that they dont always get the time from there sensei..

a perfect example of this is when kakashi chose to train sasuke for the chuunin exams and just left naruto alone and gave him a rubbish sensei.. of course this all worked out in the end..

another thing is that sasuke got so power quickly because of having the correct training from orochimaru.. and then having his gifted bloodline to help..

naruto being the student of jiraiya was given the oppotunity to learn sage mode..

if u think about it then its not that much of a surprise.. the only surprise here is sakura..

Naruto barely got anything out of the 3 years.Sakura advanced the most considering that she was fodder in Part 1 and Sasuke well he was strong enough to take down an Akatsuki member at the start of Part 2 unlike the other 2 Team 7 members.

That's why; for some reason other characters can't progress further than them, even though they had been presented as somehow equals or similars, they had to get stuck so main ones can shine.

And most of the side characters do not have their advances by any remote chance. I won't tell about what Naruto and Sasuke had -because you know since it is obvious- but even Sakura; trained under a sannin. What the others have, Kurenai, Asuma? The ones who were remotely close to a "chance" are team Gai students since he is one of the strongest jounins; and Neji. Even so, Lee and Neji are now "joke" compared to Naruto and Sasuke. Still, they are better than rest of the k11 members, but other than being among the best taijutsu users, they got nothing and hand to hand combat is useless in current scales of power (and these guys presented as equals to Naruto and Sasuke, but they had to lag behind so others can shine)

All in all, this is a matter of being main character. I don't like that they are getting boosts up insanely compared to others, who Gave effort maybe further than them, but they gotta leave everyone behind the dust.

no not exactly... after they left the sannin the opportunitys they had which came from the sannin still existed... such as naruto learning sage mode... this was only possible because he trained under jiraiya..

sasuke on the other hand became much more powerful thanks to his bloodline which he got after 'killing' itachi..

the only thing naruto learned from kakashi and yamato was his nature training ...

sakura as u said stopped after that point.. but not we can see that isnt the case

and naruto's progression after sage mode was thanks to bee.. someone who already had full knowledge on how to tame his bijuu.. so naruto had that...

The only time she could have possibly gotten would be... pfft... Around immortal duo arc... maybe. After that, she chased after sasuke, then pain struck, then tsunade went comatose, then war. Sakura started shippuuden on the same footing as naruto, low jounin. Both their sannin training stopped, and the only other training naruto got was from kakashi to just learn rasenshuriken. After that, he never had a tutor again, except that few weeks or so he had to learn SM to fight pain. Sasuke is just another case... He's getting faster, stronger, better at taijutsu. He's had 0 time for training and near 0 rest from the time he killed oro.

as for sakura.. after she finished her training with tsunade she didnt train.. however we can see that she was already taught the method of the forehead seal suring her 3 years of training.. however since her chakra pool isnt as large it took sakura a lot longer to build it up and it has only just come to light.. her sudden increase didnt come from knowhere.. it was already there jsut never shown.. since it needed 'time'

I just love how you compare them to gods like Madara and call them trash. They were geniuses of their own time Kakashi,Zabuza,Madara,Itachi, etc grew up during eras of wars they had to be strong. Jiraiya was the master of some of the most powerful shinobi's in the fcking world(Minato,Nagato) idk what you were expecting IN FACT I expected Naruto to be stronger than he was in the beginning of shippuden. And then Naruto trained in sage mode(The dude has crazy potential even more potential than sasuke) and even though he had the kyuubi as a setback he still surpassed Jiraiyas Sage mode. Just like how he and Sasuke struggled the same amount with climbing trees even though Naruto had more of a setback than Sasuke did. Naruto had struggled for a good reason because of kurama Sasuke struggled simply because he sucked. And I don't need to explain the rest of his power ups.

He's an Uchiha, they're the elite. And it was referenced many times in the old show that Sasuke always had more potential than Itachi. We always knew Sasuke was going to be strong enough to kill Itachi. I mean come on do you know how already OP the base sharingan is? It's able to copy techniques,movement patterns,see your chakra flow, and read your movements, that plus enton,amaterasu, and susano'o? If it weren't for killer bee's crazy speed(I rhymed xD) Sasuke would've solo'd him. The dude was able to develop his own jutsu(kirin) if Sasuke wanted to he probably would've destroyed more than 70% of the leaf village with it. Or am I exaggerating? And to add onto his already OP arsenal the dude got EMS. And IMO I forgot where I read it but most people don't believe that EMS comes with a 3rd ability but it was stated(I think in the Itachi vs Sasuke fight) that in some rare cases some Uchiha's have shown a 3rd ability. We've all seen how Sasuke is surprised at Naruto's growth maybe he's going to use it?

Sakura- Eh to be honest. I've got nothing her mode that she got off of Tsunade was an ass pull if you ask me. "Training 3 years for this my ass" You're telling me she couldn't have used it when not only hers but granny Chiyo's life was in danger at the hands of Sasori? Or she couldn't use it when Pain was destroying her village in front of her? And she just let Naruto do it alone and not try to help? Even Hinata had more guts to help than she did. I call bull shit Kishi bull shit.

Ok, let me take a different approach.
Hiruzen? Trained under a hokage(tobirama)
Sannins? Trained under a hokage(Hiruzen)
Minato? Trained under a sannin(jiraiya)
Kakashi? Trained under a hokage(Minato) and had a sharingan since about 11
Gaara? Was trained by a kazekage(his dad) and had near perfect control over his bijuu from chunnin times
Itachi? Got some training from obito who trained under madara
Danzo? Trained under a god damn hokage. Stole the first hokage's cells. Had 11 sharingan. Still shat on by MS sasuke.
Anko? Had a cursed seal and trained under Oro
EDIT: Nagato, and Konan!!!! Nagato Trained under the same jiraiya for probably far longer, during a time of war AND had a rinnegan and uzumaki DNA! He's more gifted than those 3 combined, yet he's now almost nothing compared to them. A 30+ year old hard back with rinnegan, and uzumaki DNA. Rofl.
I can Even toss In Akatsuki such as deid(trained under Onoki), etc etc. I can go on and on.

I'm not just talking about K11. It's a bit clear why naruto and sasuke are a bit better than them, more than Sakura, but I'm also talking about every other ninja who had the same, if not better opportunities than them. To make it even worse, those other ninja most likely hadd far more time to train than Team 7 did, because they are faarrrrrrr older and have all seen war. Naruto is literally about #4 right now, under obito, hashi and edo madara, while sasuke is about 6 or 7.
