Chidori was known as an assassination technique for a reason. Even though Rasengan as more raw power, Chidori is more precise and lethal. Chidori isn't weaker than Rasengan either, as they clashed three times in the series and stalemated each time. They are both A rank techniques. None of them are better than the other, but chidori is more suited to killing than rasengan.

has that deadly appealing to it ( Sasuke / antagonist ) but portrayed to have the same strength as Naruto's Rasengan .
