I mean there was a chance to get to see Naruto fight without being a Jinchuuriki when Madara sealed Kurama, too bad we didn't see any action from Naruto.

When Kushina lost Kurama she was able to use jutsu to keep Kurama with chains.

When Obito did Rinne Tensei and lost the Juubi we got to see him fight without the Juubi. We saw him fight without being a Jinchuuriki.

Madara we saw him fight without being a Jinchuuriki and being a Jinchuuriki of the Juubi.

Kishi just didn't want to give Naruto any fight without being a Jinchuuriki.

And in the end the Kyuubi busted him out of that too.

The last time Naruto tried to fight Sasuke without bijuu power was the retrieval arc and that was the first time in Shonen Manga that a Main Character had their ass handed to them so gracefully by their counterpart.

Sasuke didn't need to seal, steal, modify, enhancement to get the Sharingan, stripping Sasuke of the Sharingan is like stripping Shikamaru and the Nara clan of their high IQ.

Now if you meant EMS then yes, that is Itachi eyes who it belongs to and can be stripped.

Naruto being Kurama isn't his own natural power, just like Obito and Madara being Juubi Jinchuuriki isn't their natural power.

We know his Sage Mode power is pretty formidable without Bijuu, and after the War Arc he gained the ability to enter Sage Mode almost instantly and maintain it with no real time limit. So that's pretty solid.

In the end, the Manga is about Doujutsu, Senjutsu, and Bijuu. Naruto holds two of those powers, and we can't really hold that against him.

Naruto would have died vs Haku, would have been killed by Orochimaru's snake, would have been defeated by Neji, killed by Gaara, would have been missing a lung after his VOTE1 fight with Sasuke, captured and killed by Pain, irrelevant in the war arc, killed by Sasuke at VOTE 2 without Kurama.
