Madara got his life back and died so fast because of black zetsu, it is too bad Naruto didn't seal the Juubi or Gedo Mazo to keep Madara alive.

Madara would of been a great addition in the battle against Toneri and Momoshiki.

It would of been cool seeing Madara with someone and have kid, he could of ended up with Tsunade maybe.

It would of been cool seeing Madara redeem himself for his mistakes.

Without taking the Bijuu into account, Madara is pretty much the strongest shinobi. Let's be fair here, Naruto's my favourite character, but in pure skill without taking adding in Rikudo powers and Kurama, Madara is far more skillful than him.

Granted, if the Last is anything to go by it would be a great fight to watch when neither includes Bijuu abilities.

I think it would suit his character better if he became some kind of an entity like Hagoromo, outside the world of the living, learning everything concerning spirituality, life&death etc. A wise old man, but less bitter than the one from the cave that Obito met.
