Actually you'll find that mangaka and comic artists do use environmental shots to create a location or time transition... Having said that... we see a drawing of the moon between Itachi and Nagato's eyes... So there may be more to it!

I told this in every thread, people don't read the comments and make another thread and another and another. It was Pain and Itachi with a technique that has something to do with the full moon.

Of course there are other theory's, but just read the damn comments and go comment your own theory, don't make 100 of threads with your theory.

Actually, it's not obvious and set in stone. Everything is a theory until it's proven otherwise, but I support this idea mixed with the Pain/Itachi theory.

i agree with sktupac - - - its just like he said - the moon is shown consecutively in the chapter - then itachi and nagato speak of their eye powers, and itachi touches a little on his genjutsu - - - - so id say - 50% its a zetsu clone - - and the other 50% his mind is being controlled without him realising - - like shisui's technique - -

So basically you support mine and 99% of NarutoBases poulace in the theory that it was the moon that caused Neji to act this way, you just decided to QQ about it.

And here you'll see that White Zetsu has ahold of Neji.

Though there were alot of images of the moon, and Neji does stumble.
But, white zetsu can copy anyone right down to their chakra, which is why the sensory ninja didn't sense any abnormalities with neji's chakra.

But, has anyone considered that while being controlled by the moon, Neji could have been moved to someplace out of the camp area so that White Zetsu could copy him and sneak into the medical tent?
