If it is black zetsu, why would he be mad about Itachi's death?
Black Zetsu didnt care a damm about Itachi. He wanted Itachi to be dead even, because it would make the plans easier to execute.
Also he was punched into the rubble(by Naruto) that was sealed with Kaguya.
That is the weak part in your theory.
I like the rest.
It was not just ''woah this kid managed to kill Itachi???!! because he said ''unforgivable, kill him'' too.Zetsu wasn't, it was Shin's reaction that showed recognition of Itachi. This could be respect for him, could just be 'woah this kid managed to kill itachi???!!' sorta reaction. It's Shin that is still a mystery, and i'd say that moment lies with him.

Mystery guy somewhat seems to agree with him though and probably told the story of Itachi to Shin.
Dont you think so?
Its weird that Shin would say things like unforgivable, if he is in the same team as black Zetsu dont you think so?
ya you can tell that the skin is being pulled, Def not a rod. Its a stitgch of some sort.
Shisui is a Pure hearted man. He would not harm anyone for revenge, esp a child. Come on people. IMO he was the most PUREHEARTED person in the NarutoUNV.
Thats what everyone thought of obito. This whole plot lone already nothing more than a rehash pf obito's amyways Lol
You guys miss the bit about him being a reanimated corpse? Imo that makes a lot more sense than him surviving that gigantic fall considering his corpse went missing. Shisui's motives don't fit this character but everything else does.
If you pay attention to the panel where Black Zetsu goes underground to go to the battlefield you can see there's still some of him stuck to the upper half of the white zetsu body that Chojuro cut in half. And what purpose would BZ have in controlling him? Heck, how would BZ even be around?

Definitely. I also stick to the belief that BZ's 'seal' was not absolute or witnessed enough to ensure total defeat. Either way, he's pulled an Orochimaru.
Also Blue Blur read the OG post! haha
Zetsu has an almost 100% track record on collecting near/dead Uchiha corpses. It's the guys hobby. That corpse might be literally the only asset he has left. This is a mini-series and a smaller scale plot than the War revival after all.
I feel this mini series is gonna set up the plot of the Boruto movie so it could have more to it than just a few more chapters.
Possible. The film is largely about the Chunnin Exams and Sasuke is an established sensei but either way we're not getting anything War-scale.
