I know these are times of trouble
And we all want to win the fight
But why are we making it double?
It always seems like we strike as thieves in the night
It doesn't matter if you're left or right
We can't even agree on things for both sides
We're so blind to our own plight
That some are talking war while living in double-wides
The right too radical and racist
The left's too soft and slow
Ones too worked up and pissed
While the other gives money to people for blow
I don't mean to *****
But why are we focusing on the small issues
That are so dead they don't even twitch
At the funeral we're even giving the dead person tissues
It doesn't matter if you're gay or straight
IT doesn't matter if you're pro-gun or pro-choice
No one ever makes it out of the starting gate
Because we're all too worried about being the louder voice
God has a plan this is true
But you're not the one to say what it is
What another person does is not up to you
For who are you to judge where another places their jiz?
There's no problem with owning a gun
There's a problem not being responsible with one
You can't just say that everyone is done
Because a few can't keep their heads in the sun
And holy hell why does it matter what your neighbor believes
Why don't you look at the bigger picture
It's not right that Fox n' MSNBC do nothing but deceive
Life's more than a wall with a Cross fixture
In the end we are all only human beings
Race, beliefs, and politics are just a distraction
Used for power & money by the rulers and kings
So wake up and leave the left, and the right faction
You see they're both one and the same
