well i do try, and the 5 main countries did participate in the exam, and they are the ones supplying 80000 ninja minus however many samurai there are.

im sorry this reply is so late but no only the
leaf sand sound grass and rain villages participated in the chuunin exams that naruto and co. participated in

Yes that just means the other nations didn't have entrants for this exam, further adding to my proof that there aren't enough ninja's in the world to make up the Shinobi alliance. It was stated by Hiruzen that the chuunin exams are done in 1 place every 6 months.

Yeah i don't know where im going with this now, i've educated the citizens of Narutobase of kishi's blunder, peace out

Not all villages have/partake in the chunnin exams. The exams were established by Tobirama. Other villages may have a different set of criteria on how to rank Ninja's and it might be more efficient time-wise as opposed to Konoha's way.

But thats stupid, seen as Konoha would then have the smallest arm by about a factor of about 50.

80000 ninja in the shinobi alliance, safe to say ATLEAST 10000 from each great nation. So what your saying is just all wrong.
