Which we see that natsu gets stupidly beaten up then get a major powerup then when done it never been used again

He didn't beat pein it was a worn out pein who already took on the whole leaf village 3 giant summonings plus 3 sages and a 9 tail fox. what happen if nagato summoned gedo mazo even a kyuubi mode naruto with the 8 tails with kakashi & gai couldn't handle them the 6 tailed beast on the field tobi brought out you think a pre-kyuubi naruto would have stand a chance???

Beaten to a pulp by Gaara.. At the end of fight he was not able to move.
Tenketsu blocked by Gaara in Chunin exams..
Nagato Pinned him to ground with his chakra rods.

I just think you like fairy tail more.. Thats ok.

I love Fairy Tail and all but the major power ups Natsu gets in the middle of fights is insanely annoying. It's like nakama punch everytime with Natsu and it gets highly highly annoying. At least with Naruto there's actually some kind of logic with the power ups, but with FT it's all "I'm fired up!!!!" and friendship crap. No logic behind it whatsoever.

He wins fights he has no business winning like the ones against Hades and Laxus.

Against pein naruto already could have died but the fact that he was a host saved him tremendously, do you seriously think pein would have allowed that fight to drag on if he wasn't? absolutely not he would died like the rest.
