first off, i never intended it to be smug or what not.
i made a point b4 that and said "logic says" as a follow up to the point made..nothing smug about that if ya ask me.

I am not sure but looking at the factors, when naruto was being takin over by 9tails chakra the shadow clones were eliminated, but that was before sage training, naruto has added abilities so it is possible that the clone has remained in control because of the natural energy.

I thought of the same thing before posting this thread. The time you're referring to is not the first time Naruto goes Kyuubi in Shippuuden because that is when Team Yamato encounters Oro and Kabuto. And at that time there were no clones

The other time was during nature manipulation training. It's questionable whether or not clones would dispel due to Naruto going Kyuubi because the release of the Kyuubi chakra exploded sending the clones flying away and then they dispelled (in the anime. in the manga it doesn't show what happens to the clones). They didn't dispel until they had flown quite a distance from where they were standing. They explosion is marked by a small crater in the ground right under Naruto. So whether it is because just the pure release of the Kyuubi, or if they clones just felt pain from the explosion is really the question. So I would say it is still questionable whether the clone is still in Myobokuzan.

this time is different though... a lot of sage chakra will hit naruto once the clone dispels. it's quite an unprecedented event

Either the clone is already gone

OR

somebody, (maybe Naruto) will release it and he will be able to control the fox's power and go Demon Sage Mode!!!

OR

after the fight is over and Naruto is really injured from the kyuubi's chakra he will release the last clone to help a rapid recovery.

you're right... but if you keep flipping the pages in that very same issue.. on page 13 you'll see that 2 clones managed to not dispel in spite of the Kyuubi chakra leaking out. only 1 clone did. These 2 clones stayed with Gaara the entire time from when Naruto created the clones that attacked Deidara's clay clone and remained with Gaara throughout the release of the Kyuubi chakra and even after Kakashi put the supress seal on Naruto's forehead. You can see it in the anime also in episode 30.

Every true!! But as I did state in 6tails mode none of the clones would make it...


There is only one clone left... So even in two tails mode that clone would dispel... even if it had Nature Chakra...

Plus the two clones which stayed with Gaara only stayed because Kakashi made it in time to seal the Kyuubis chakra... other wise all the clone would SLOWly dispeled...

This is a very good thread Chakra, Im really stumped at what might happen,

all I can do is guess, and that I dont like to do too much cause its then open for interpretation and "what if's"! ; )

I dont know what would happen between the Kyuubi's chakra, and the Sage mode chakra?

If Naruto still have control over the clone?

I think there is different scenarios here, like Kyuubi XZ said

1. The clone just dispersed, nothing happening, all the ideas and knowledge that the clone gained is sent back to Naruto without the sage chakra?

2. The clone gets summoned back, and the sage chakra fights against the Kyuubi chakra to see which is stronger?

3. Naruto, some how goes out of Kyuubi mode and still need to fight pain, he can get the clone back, in some sort of a way, to help him fight against pain.


But I think that the clone is going to be used, with a combined effort of Yamot and another ninja, most probably Sakura. To help Naruto get control overhimself.

I think that Yamato will try to hold the Kyuubi down with his Mokoton jitsu, while Sakura tries to place a seal on his forehead, and Ma frog still croaking, trying to reverse summon the last clone to fight against the Kyuubi's chakra. And hopefully, if all goes well, Naruto would be saved??? ; )

Dont know bro, but thats exactly what Im trying to get at. I dont think that the Kyuubi and sage chakra are compatible at the same time. Im thinking of when Pa tried to sat on Naruto and tried to get Sage chakra to flow through Naruto while naruto is trying to move, it rejected him, and I think that when the sage chakra wants to enter Naruto after the clone have been dispersed, then there would be a disturbance. I dont think that the sage chakra are powerful enough to suppress the Kyuubi's chakra, but I think that it might be used to assist in dispersing it.

I think there is a possibility of the clone still being there as naruto's body can handle more tails therefore his clones could withstand more,we see when he is in training with yamato that one of the clones starts to go kyuubi and the clones around it go poof when it hits them but they did not transform and yamato had to control naruto.But some of the other clones started to change, this was because naruto was using the kyuubi's chakra to perform that many kage bunshin and the technique that he was practicing so in theory because he is using the kyuubi chakra there is also the possibility of the clone going poof.(I know i'm argueing both sides here and i'm rambling on a bit but i'm sat on the fence on this one ?_? )
