The question is wether hashi was the strongest ninja to ever live. Madara was not stronger than him when he was alive as he got beat. Current madara is not really alive.To compare the two is really stupid. If there was somebody who surpassed his power they are not alive today. All the kage cant even touch madara. Kurama and madara together have to be equal to a madara with rinnigan right. Yet hashi beat him. which means he is stronger than the five kage and all ninja alive since kage are the strongest ninja in their village. Hashi may not be stronger than madara today but that is only because he cannot be killed in actuality.
