Is Yamato The One Who Knows Everything?

Yamato was around long enough to know about arrangements being made for the war, so Obito and Kabuto could have learned where HQ is through interrogating him. Now he's plugged into Madara's giant plant. According to Zetsu, depending on their distance from the plant they can exchange information, and during Obito's rehabilitation, gathering information is what Zetsus were being used for. While Yamato is in it, it's possible Sasuke can ask him questions and Yamato can access the information. I can't find any info on whether the giant plant acts as a storage for data, but if it is, it would have everything Madara knows. If not, it does at least help that Naruto turned a large amount of Zetsus into trees, leaving their roots permanently plugged into the ground, which I read is how they talk to each other over distances.

Orochimaru would know where Yamato is. He knows about the war because he said that he was watching through Kabuto. He would have watched Tobi giving Kabuto a tour of his giant plant.

Remember that Oro stated he witnessed everything up to now through people infused with his DNA, meaning, Kabuto and Anko.

I don't think Yamato is "the one who knows it all" though...

I was thinking the scroll had data on the Hashirama cells. There's something about them, which is probably why Suigetsu got excited. Zetsu was part of Akatsuki while Orochimaru was there. I saw the panel where Sasuke had a realization after Juugo mentioned Madara escaping Edo Tensei, as if he was connecting dots, perhaps. He kept telling Suigetsu to stop underestimating Orochimaru when they argued about reviving him.

Yamato was one of Orochimaru's experiments. If Orochimaru understood Sasuke by him presenting the scroll, then maybe the scroll has notes on how the plant is like some kind of data hub, and Orochimaru found a way of accessing it. For some reason Orochimaru had a particular interest in disrupting Akatsuki's plans.

The usage of the word "them" shouldn't be misinterpreted so be careful. "Them" is the best the translator can do since he or she doesn't know the gender of the person Orochimaru and Sasuke are talking about and pronouns in Japanese can be ambiguous.

See my answer above about the word "them" It's really hard to put any amount of weight on the importance of that word because it's a translator's issue. Can anyone help me, what does the RAW say?
