Some people think danzo made the right choice of killing the whole uchiha clan just because they were threat to konoha.
But i think hiruzen was more correct in this situation. I mean come on, All of the conflicts were just due to a bit of misunderstanding. Danzo and the others thought Uchiha had something to do with kyuubi attack and uchiha clan were annoyed, as they were excluded from konoha .

I think few negotiations would have prevented the massacre . As we know itachi figured out obito/tobi did the kyuubi attack on konoha so he could have told this to everyone and then konoha would have got rid of him AND if a uchiha would have done it , it would have generated trust between konoha and uchihas which would have been even better.

But thats just my opinion...

So what do you think was correct justice for you, Danzo's method or hiruzen's ?

*At that point negotiation wouldn't have worked
tension was building up where the uchiha's lurked
they were angry and ready to start up a war
the ground was dirty, so danzo had to mop the floor*
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I hate to say it but it is justifiable, because nothing was going to stop the Uchiha Clan at that point. Plus it was made clear that even if Itachi didn't kill his clan, the Uchiha Clan would have lost anyway and been wiped out.

The Uchiha Clan was dead either way, at least this way war can be avoided.

The uchiha clansman who initiated the attack was still a member of the clan, he was never excommunicated. Also, they have good reason since under the control of the uchiha the 9 tails has tomoes, they are justified in thier assumption and technically correct as well.

Oh I never thought about that - Why didn't Itachi try and convince the Hokage, 'Madara' initiated the attack?
Anyways it is justifiable but still wrong,

It was just the lesser of the two evil consequences . . . . . and no evil, lesser or greater is ever justified.

If they knew obito was behind the kyubi attack they could use the information to their advantage.

1. They were atleast 50 people.
2. Danzo have no respect for human life.

I think danzo didn't give a damn about konoha, all he wanted was power, which is why he stole shisui's eye and also used sharingan and hashi's cells. His real motives were clear during kage summit arc.

I hate to say it but it is justifiable, because nothing was going to stop the Uchiha Clan at that point. Plus it was made clear that even if Itachi didn't kill his clan, the Uchiha Clan would have lost anyway and been wiped out.

I Think Uchiha clan would have solo'd konoha .
Assuming, shisui was still with them, itachi and tobi also helping them , which makes sense as shisui died bcoz he didn't wanted to help in coup .

The uchiha clansman who initiated the attack was still a member of the clan, he was never excommunicated. Also, they have good reason since under the control of the uchiha the 9 tails has tomoes, they are justified in thier assumption and technically correct as well.
One doesn't kill over 50 people just based off assumptions.

I think Any wise man would have preferred negotiations. i really think if they would have decided to call a meeting and talk, uchiha clan would still be alive and helping them.
Tell me what uchihas wanted? Just a respectable position in the society...

Even in our real world, if we , the people , feel something is going wrong, we go on strike. Even they were just doing that. It doesn't mean you kill those people .

Yes, i was probably the smartest choice. Less risk involved and gets the job done faster than trying to talk to an bunch of hyper emotional people.
Danzo may not have chosen the right choice but its the best choice in terms of keeping the village safe.

to an extent i believe its justified as the whole feud reached a point where negotiation could have failed as the uchiha massacre succeeded as it was unexpected for them but if konoha tried to negotiate with uchiha and it went bad then uchiha would have begun asap and that would have resulted in civilan casualties so konoha had to massacre them to avoid that at all possibilities

What kind of democracies you people live in where it is justifiable to slaughter a segregated clan? The Coup was justified and this Utilitarian garbage only best serves people if they are hoarding the benefits, not the other way around. I would love to ask a Physiological question here: if a member of your family gets himself aligned with a revolutionary group and in a struggle to curb or outright demolish the revolution, the rulers decide to annihilate your family. What would be your reaction?

Konoha brought this upon itself. Its arbitrary policies has cost many people their lives through Shady expansions does by Danzo or through war and Segregation. Senju clan and Tobirama took a lot of liberty unto himself when he decided to horde all the control from a founding clan, when they rightfully and equally deserved a full share in politics. Conversely, I don't see why is it so callous to wipe a village off the map that has stood over the necks of so many to reap the political benefits. Expunge it from Narutoverse. Simple.

i don't think it is justifiable, and Danzo was definitely more in the wrong than Hiruzen.

Itachi had one of his psychotic attacks and Felt the need to kill His entire clan Except Sasuke.
Then he Later On Decides to come back to the village and prove his superiority to his little brother.
He then Goes all out on His Brother and dies trying.

Ummm you decide.

Not in the slightest, danzo just wanted those damn eyes....

And thats the reason why he stole shisui's KA, which would've been the only thing that could stop them....

Danzo = NV's failure U_U
