Is Tobi's warping technique really that great?

Tobispawn is making threads how Tobi can simply warp Madara away and it's game over. There are several things that are still bugging me about this technique.

We should get a closer look at Konan vs Tobi battle. Tobi said Konan was planning to suicide by letting Tobi warp her in. Tobi said after warping some of the explosions he felt a little impact. This means that even in his own dimension the opponents he sucks in can be troublesome. This also explains why he didn't warp any jinchuuriki away, because it's simply too dangerous for Tobi. There is also a nother reason why Tobi didn't warp any jinchuuriki or high level Sharingan user. Tobi warps his opponent away and then paralyzes them with his sharingan, in other words he casts a genjutsu and tames them. It's a simillar genjutsu Madara used on A who was saved seconds later by Tsuchikage. This is how he held Fuu and Torune hostage. Now you see this won't work against any perfect jinchiruuki nor high level Uchiha user like Madara, Itachi and Sasuke.
He won't be able to tame them and would take a huge risk warping them away. This makes perfect sense why he hasn't warped any of the people that I've mentioned above.

Heyhey now I'm taking your words into consideration here I don't think its necessarily overrated when few shinobi have managed to match/counter it (Minato with FTG and Konan with intel and prep)

ok now i remember. but lets say naruto is in there how can he get out and why is it dangerous. even if he unleashes kyubi's powers how are u certain it will affect tobi. once a person is completely in there there is no proof that it can hurt tobi

And the Jinchuuriki thing can be due to plot too. Tobi warping all of the Jinchuuriki (including Naruto) while they sleep would be a little lame...and he also hadn't revealed himself to Akatsuki so him showing up with the Jinchuuriki would give away his true power. AND lastly, why not let the other Akatsuki do the work for you?

But... there IS a thing called plot

I'd imagine if Tobi was the main character (lol) he would be invincible, the S/T jutsu is really, really beast if you think about it.

Jinchuuriki, one's that have control of their Tailed Beast, are prretty much invincible to Genjutsu, if their Tailed Beast isn't someone incapable of dispelling the Genjutsu.

Yagura was a perfect jinchuriki and Tobi still used uberlegithax Genjutsu on him. Makes NO sense, I have no clue how he did it.

Because if a little tag explosive can leave an inpact on Tobi can you imagine what Kyuubi or Perfect Sasuno would do?

I think its a great technique, but you won't win a battle against top tier Uchihas or perfect jinchuurikis by just simply teleporting them away. Minato would be screwed and so would Konan.

There has not been any official statement about the exact time of which Tobi places the people he warps under Genjutsu....It is just simply stated that he does once they are already inside his pocket dimension



You don't know that Tobi can't trap Sasuke in a Genjutsu, the Sharigan doesn't give automatic protection against Genjutsu...

Being a High level Sharingan doesn't trump Genjutsu. Especially a Genjutsu which no eye contact is needed from it's caster.

I don't know if Tobi could ever restrain EMS Sasuke with just his regular sharingan, seems impossible for me. Tobi won't take that risk. Imagine what Susano would do if a simple explosion caused some impact?

I'm fairly sure you can't control a tailed beast inside of a human. You can suppress it sure, but its bound to resurface and I'm not even completely sure you can suppress a perfect jinchuriki. Imagine if Sasuke and Naruto fought, Sasuke then just suppresses the Kyuubi and game over? No, I'm sure you can't suppress a perfect jinchuriki and you can't control while they're in a human.

I will translate this for you. It states sucked, not sucking so the proces has been done. We can conclude Konan was already warped in. She wanted to blow herself up and Tobi threw her out so he could minimise the impact.

This doesn't prove anything. Kyuubi was already supressed so nothing amazing Sasuke did there. Try doing taht to a released Bijuu working together with the jinchuuriki.
