I dont know why Kishi choose to draw it that way. Maybe kishi just drawing a parallel moment where they reached Kaguya together. And also because Naruto cant performed instant speed anymore.

To sum it up Sasuke can keep up with Naruto instant speed if they both want to seal Kaguya instantly. No excuses on Sasuke will slowing down Naruto.

You said Naruto still can speed blitz Kaguya, why he not doing it again this time? He knew that Sasuke have ameno(instant teleportation) and can reach Kaguya instantly, why not he just use his instant raw speed to get near Kaguya fast?


Using CT for counter argument cant helping your case as CT is Rinnegan regular/normal technique. Even though Sasuke not seen to used it anymore, we knew he still have that ability.

While Current Sasuke might have been rusty in some areas as well during the gaiden, his speed certainly wasn't affected. It's probably fair if someone wants to assume that he's faster than Naruto now. His sword fight against the MA's underling certainly makes it appear that way.
