What happened to originality? Was there a time where it really existed?

But is conforming any better than anarchy when most of the people are led hopelessly to the point of never knowing who they really are... I choose anarchy over this any day cause we are smart being able to identify what is wrong and what is right. But just accepting everything and moulding yourself to be accepted by society is premature suicide if you ask me. You never really existed if you aint who you really are. And mass media has most of us thinking we like being plastic(for lack of a better word). Take away TV and pop culture and see the real Humanity come to life. Just my opinion anyway
If people want to fit in then of course you won't find much individuality but that doesn't mean there is none. Besides freedom is subjective to some it is the ability to walk without shackles on their hands and feet to others such as yourself it's individuality for some stupid reason.

Total freedom is nothing to be desired to achieve. Because that would only lead to anarchy and chaos. People would steal, rape and kill all day.
But I do not know what "freedom" has to do with your example of facebook pictures. No one forces them to take pictures in a certain way with certain filters etc. They choose to do so themselves, either because they like it and are happy this way.. or because they are stupid and think they need to act and portray themselves in a certain way to be accepted by others.

Well Im sorry if you cant see the shackles on your mind if thats your point of view. I mean if you wanna be crude then yes the shackles thing is true but we've moved passed that. Why enslave someone by force if you can get them to do it to themselves willingly without them even knowing. Freedom is also just a matter of perspective but this is mine and its what I see is wrong in todays society. Im not saying it applies to everyon.

Yes the possibility is there that those things might happen but they also might not...
Naturally it's your perspective and of course we are never truly free. Nothing is free including life and as such the same applies to people's decisions they always come at a cost. But at the same time this is simply human psyche we are social creatures and the only way to socialize with others is to have something in common whether that be something they like to eat or whatever. This creates a sense of community for example NarutoBase is a example of this.
Do you get what I'm saying yet?:wut: Besides slavery still happens somewhere in the world just like prostitution and theft, even if it doesn't happen in front of you doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

To this I say look at ants, they all have their own purpose but they all serve a common goal. They thrive in their differences. Having something in common is good that point I agree with. But if everyone has everything in common then how are we different. Just by looks but not by personality or mentality. Then we are all just sheep being led where ever media and pop culture wants us. Like the selfie and the hashtags and the clothes we wear. All promoted by things we see on TV.. They say we want it then we convince ourselves that we do cause we are so scared to stand out. I dont even listen to music where an artist sings cause it just gives media more opportunity to brainwash us. Its easy to relate to songs these days and have them tell you how to think and go about things like heart breaks and they teach us what love is but nobody really knows what love is or that it even really exists we only have an idea given to us since we were kids to believe and accept. Im sorry but I create my own reality based on facts
