Remember Obito was a really good person before Kishi went insane and turned him evil. It would be cool since Kakashi would not be alone anymore and can be free from his past and start making moves on that purple haired ANBU girl.

It would suck for Kakashi to lose his long lost friend after all this time. There's been enough tragedy among close friendships like Nagato/Yahiko, Jiraiya/Orochimaru, Asuma/Chiriku, possibly Naruto/Sasuke. It would be nice if there was one successful friendship.
