Is there a connection between Obito and shisui?

I think they were brothers. Madara & Izuna, Sasuke & Itachi are brothers, they all activated Mangekyou.....i think The mangekyou only appears in brothers so that EMS can be achieved...

Kind of makes sense why Kakashi's eye can now use MS and why Shisui was shown to have it....
It will be interesting to find out what that tablet completely says hopefully it is revealed.

Interesting. However, how would your body "know" you have a sibling? Perhaps the relationship between a brother would trigger something inside them to unlock the MS?

I think It's a genetic thing, read one of my other threads, I think there is a "line" of Uchiha that is more deep then rest of clan... I.e madara is a grandfather of one set of brothers and Izuna the other set...pure speculation but.

Other then that very nice theory never thought of it that way but I don't think the MS only appears in brothers. No proof obviously other than the more than likely possibility that Obito and Shisui weren't brothers But I must admit this could go either way

Obito died before his prime, look at how far his eye has advanced since he gave it to kaskashi, since kakashi is not an uchiha you would think the whole kill your closest friend thing would no longer apply, so it seems the eye may have been destined to be a mangkeyou.

ok, Imagine if obito survived, Kakashi would have never got sharingan, Obito would have furthered it to the stage of mangekyuo, if I'm right about the sibling connection, thats why kakashi got it.....but yeah....who knows.
