I think Sasuke with Rinnegan and PS would be a good stopping point in his power ups. As for Naruto just give him the rest of kurama chakra and BSM Naruto with 100% Kurama should be his final power. Making him rikudo number 3 would ruin the manga.

They are both 17 and fighting amongst god's. They even managed to take down the 2nd most powerful char in the show (yes it was plot but face it everything manga has plot, its needed) If you think about it, if they constantly get power ups til theyre 30 they will be on DBZ levels with destructive power.... They both can destroy continents at 17 just saying

Naruto is Rikudou's reincarnation:

Even the Juubi confirmed it when it saw RS in Naruto:

Naruto cannot represent the Younger Son, because like Hashirama, the Younger Son lacks one vital thing that Naruto and Rikudou both have: friendship with the Bijuus.

No, I agree with you on the peace part you said earlier, but I responding to chopstick's question. Naruto has already begun moving nations towards peace, he is already fulfilling his role as savior.

Power + Love = Peace.

Power alone is nothing, Love alone is nothing. It's common sense Naruto must hold tremendous power and capacity to love to reach global peace.

If Naruto only held Love he would be powerless, he wouldn't be capable to reach peace. He needs the means.

That's fine I have no qualms with Naruto being the sage's reincarnation. They both seek peace. They both showed affection for the bijuu. They even have similar personalities, however this does not mean that they will follow the same path nor gain the same powers. Naruto is the one that will carry the sage's dream of peace as the foretold savior. This does not mean that he will become the So6P.

Everything in Naruto points to there being a need for a separation of power, whether it be the bijuu, the principles of yin and yang points, or even izanami and izanagi. The sage never said that the savior would have to shoulder every thing alone, Naruto doesn't need centralized power like the Sage had nor does he need to be the Juubi jinchuuriki. His only role is to lead.

I don't think of him as someone that is becoming a literal copy of the sage, of course.

Naruto must reach peace in first place, Rikudou failed at this task. Naruto will surpass him in philosophical terms.

Yes. I feel respect for you (your speech has good reasoning) and so I demonstrate it through establishing a high leveled discussion.

Even with a whole nation do you think that if Naruto hasTWICE the chakra had has now do you really think they would stand a chance?

Absolutely as great as Naruto is he wouldn't be able to defeat a whole nation let alone an alliance of nations as the one we are seeing now. Gaara wouldn't attack him but imagine if Suna and Kirigakure teamed up with the sole purpose of killing naruto or extracting his Bijuu. Without the power level of the sage he would only last for so long. Naruto has a hard time(as in it takes him long into a battle to form a counter) against tough enemies already if he had to fight over 100 ninjas around kakashi's level and a couple dozen above him then yes he would lose, UNLESS he had the power of the sage.

Isn't that ruling through might???? Naruto will be allies with all countries, but if they rebel against him and he tries to force them back into place then thats still ruling by might

Question: Seeing how most people parallel Naruto with the Sage isn't it possible that Naruto can play more than one role?

It was brought out that the Sage originally thought that his eyes were the key to peace. This probably means he used force in order to achieve peace. It wasn't till later that the Sage realized that love was essential to peace.
Couldn't Naruto actually be the Sage following a different path. The path that was shown to him by his younger son. This would mean Naruto is playing both the Sage's as well as younger Son right???

He isn't an actual reincarnation of the Sage. The reason for that is:

-He lacks the genetics of the SO6P.
-He lacks the power of the SO6P.

Naruto only has the will and feelings sage had. That doesn't make him the reincarnation of the sage.

I believe the Sage gave his legacy to his younger son because someone tried to use force to reach peace, and this someone failed... before the sage:

His mother, Kaguya.

So, in order to find peace, the Sage had to travel though the world, and he even developed his system, he was spreading knowledge for this end.

It is not clear which way he used to reach peace. We don't know if he used power, or if he used love... we only know he used his teachings. If he went through the world sharing this knowledge, I doubt he had tried to use power to find peace, taking in mind his own mother failed with this mean.

So... I can't imagine Naruto taking both roles right now, the role of power and the role of love. Last chapter leads me to think that Naruto is being the parallel to the Younger Son (which seeks for peace with understanding, love) and Obito the Elder Son (which seeks for peace with control, power).

No, not in the sense of peace through power.
I meant since their standings were similar. Still that gave me an idea for a short thread.

Uh, I overdid it up there, sorry.

Yes, in the end Naruto has to find balance. I can't see him as a parallel to Rikudou per se 'right now'. I think Naruto will be like him and he will surpass him in their standing... since where Rikudou failed, Naruto must prevail.
