Is the whole Naruto becoming the next SO6P thing dead yet?.

To speak honestly I was never a fan of the idea in the first place. I mean turning the MC into an all powerful god with absolutely no one to rival his power and having him effortlessly obliterate the final bosses has to be the lamest idea I ever heard.

It was already proven that Naruto doesn't have the ichibi or the hachibi's power so he can't simply absorb all the bijuu especially when the hachibi and ichibi chakra are going back to their respective bodies.

IMO whether in manga or In video games the underdog factor is an important factor in final boss battles. The MC needs to feel out matched and outgunned to make the MC's victory all the more remarkable.

The way I see it the final power ups should be
Sasuke- senjutsu+PS
Naruto- senjutsu+100% kyuubi

These power ups seem to be enough where Sasuke and Naruto can fight the final boss overcoming them powerwise and leaves more suspense to the conflict.

Anyway this is just my opinion let me know what you think down below.

If naruto wasn't the the reincarnatio then kishi wouldn't have portrayed him as such, Naruto is not the reincarnation by power but with will of sage, as simple as that.

And as for for Bijuu's chakra he already has 7 of them, hachibi already acknowledged naruto, it's just a matter of time for Ichibi to acknowledge naruto just like the other bijuu's.

well naruto will get some info from sage as kyubi and other beast already acknowledge him as sage's re-incarnation.
secondly if this is not the final arc then Jashin should be the next villain because naruto with godly power should fight with a god in next arc.

Yeah i have something like that in mind too and it is why bijuu are tryin or going whatever to their former jinchuriki's i mean aren't they hated it first to be locked up in human body and even if they have created bonds with their jin's don't they now want to live free ?

Yup.Naruto becoming all powerful with a rinnegan and obliterating the final villians... destroys the great plot constructed so far and seems kinda childish.Naruto becoming the next sage may not be possible literally but he is being portrayed as the one who inherited the sage's will and the bijuu's affirmed the same.

Why do you assume he'll become the sage reincarnate BEFORE the final boss battle? It's much more likely that through the final fight he will discover something and after the fight ends he will receive his last powerup becoming the Sage reincarnated.

I think Madara and/ or Obito will still be stronger. Naruto might just get a one-off friendship power.

My point was that a lot of people feel that in order for Naruto to fulfill the prophecy he has to become the 10 jinchuuriki and the rinnengan. Its unnecessary, childish and kinda boring.

I think that the reincarnation is not related to DNA or power, but the will to reach peace.

No, I agree with you on the peace part you said earlier, but I responding to chopstick's question. Naruto has already begun moving nations towards peace, he is already fulfilling his role as savior.
