Is Sound Genjutsu underrated?

Sound can affect more than just hearing.Have you ever stood in an area with very powerful vibrations?If so then you feel your body buzzing and you start to get sick because of the soundwaves and vibrations.The human body is composed of over 75% water and water can produce sound waves ergo sound genjutsu can still affect you even if your hearing is blocked as shown when Choji fought Dozu.

Dosu didn't use sound genjutsu. He used sound vibrations to beat Chouji. Sound genjutsu effects you through hearing and if you can't hear the genjutsu, you won't be effected.

Anyway I can think of many ways of avoiding sound based genjutsu. As long as you can distort the incoming sound waves, the sound waves will be altered and the genjutsu won't work.
