Is sharingan overpowered

hi guys just wanted to know what you think, is sharringan overpowered.
I think it is, i mean the abillities are:

1.predicts foes movment and user can intercept (slowes down movement)
2.sees through genjutsu
3.copy hand seals thus copying the jutsu
4.copying taijutsu
5.copying genjutsu
6.spinning the tomoes give hypnotic effect

Then there is Mangekyou sharringan

1.slowes down movement even more
2.amaterasu
3.tsukomy
4.susanno
5.all the abillities of a normal sharringan

Now I think that is owerpowered

it is overpowered to a certain extent. but the villains needed something to fight the heroes or else naruto and jiraiya would just rape everything, although there is rinnegan.

yes but so is everything else:
Rinnegan is OP
SM is OP
Kyuubi is OP
Sand is OP
8 gates is OP
FTG is OP

the point is most of the main characters need something OP to be better then a normal ninja.

if you think sharingan is overpowered then what about kyuubi and rineggan,magenkyou sharingan has major side effects and that can cause the user to be blind and you can only get eternal magenkyou sharingan if you get your sibling's magenkyou sharingan and to get magenkyou sharingan you have to kill your best friend or the person closest to you,getting sharingan also requires you to reach your limit I think and to be sad.

it most definitely is! thats why everybody wants it for themselves or wants no one to have it!

From what has stated by the manga the sharingan is just to be stronger and faster and to copy certain techniques.. kakashi is the only one who is able to copy other character jutsus he even knows how to do the rasengun. sasuke copied lee's move i 4got what is called even naruto copied it and he does not have the sharingun (yet)

Naruto will NEVER have sharingan. <-Period-< And btw Naruto only imitated Sasuke's move which was a copy of Lee's Initial Lotus... Kakashi btw was Minato's student, Minato being the one who created the technique. Take your time when you re-read the manga.

the sharingan provides immense powers alongwith disproportionate setbacks... i mean the disadvantages of using it are greater than its advantages, unlike a rinnegan user who has NO setbacks... so i'd say it's not that overpowered

but shitty sasuke IS overpowered, lol... and so is shitty naruto... but that is another debate xd

its hella OverPowered, its rediculouse how OverPowered it is, to be able to know what your foes next move is is insane, how the hell do you lose? as a matter of face how the hell did Sasuke & Itachi even touch eachother??? but the Most OverPowered part was Itachi's, his defense was also his offence that sent whatever hit it back at the user (Susano's Shield) & Susano's Sword swept away whatever it touched. Its these things that people don't realize makes Itachi the Greatest Naruto Character, depending on his desicions he could have been the Strongest Character in the Seriese.
