Is Sasuke's rinnegan useless?

Well, the reason he can't seems very reasonable to me.

One - Sasuske has never seen any of the Six Paths Techniques used in front of him. I believe the only Rinnegan user he met was Obito and Madara, and I can't recall either of them actually using any technique in front of Sasuke. For that reason, I don't think he even knows about them.

Two - Sasuke isn't aware that he is capable of doing them. Similar to how Naruto had no idea that he could fly

Three - Naruto doesn't recognize Sasuke's eye as a Rinnegan because it doesn't match the one he saw on Nagato, so he couldn't tell. Even if he did, Naruto would most likely be too dumb to recognize it. Same for Kakashi. He doesn't recognize the eye as a Rinnegan like Nagato's, so he can't tell Sasuke that he can use the technique

Sasuke never knew he can move fast with his eye then how is he able to do so? i don't think this is the reason he can't use paths...

You must be crazy to ask such a question. The only reason why Naruto and Sasuke were even able to land a hit on Madara was because of Sasuke's Rinnegan. Sasuke was the perfect counter for him.

your comment is a bullsh** naruto landed an assault on madara with bijudama rasenshuriken before sasuke plus he hit kaguya which sasuke haven't done yet.... speak to yourself who is crazy..... and if you read my post which you definitely didn't read... i asked about why sasuke can't use paths not that his eye can't use teleportation crazy!!

My idea makes the most sense to me. His teleportation technique (when first used) seemed very instinctive. It was if he needed to do it to survive. Similarly, Naruto suddenly began to float without realizing, and it was in a moment of life or death. I guess the other techniques weren't necessary in order to survive, so they weren't "activated" yet.

The Rinnegans are Different Simple.

Tbh SO6P had the same type of Rinnegan as Madara and Nagato. Madara evolved his sharingan by adding Senju DNA and he was Indra's chakra incarnate.. together making SO6P Rinnegan and he gave it to Nagato (who had high enough chakra reserves to use it). In the manga it's stated by Obito that with both Rinnegan going to their original owner their full power can be used, which is likely why Obito and Nagato couldn't use Limbo.

For manga purposes we only know that Sasuke evolved his sharingan to Rinnegan through the Sage's power and possibly Senju DNA's help... (we don't know if the DNA was implanted in him via Kabuto or if he just used it's healing powers)

Considering that his Rinnegan is not the same as the SO6P.. how can you expect him to use the same techniques? 6 paths techniques?

To say such would be like expecting every MS to use the same techniques (Tsukyomi, KA, Amat, Susanoo, Kagusuchi, Kamui etc.) even though every set of MS eyes are different.

No offense.. they look different for a reason, they are different for a reason. We'll know his Rinnegan's true potential soon enough.. but yes he did just get it... so only time will tell.

Edit: It's too early to say whether it is useless or not... when he's still figuring it out.

There has to be more to it, even if it ends up being different paths than Madara's.

I do enjoy the fact that he can control the location of anything within a certain area, including himself.

That is a very useful and powerful technique.
