he spent much of the fight in CS2 and almost ran out of chakra despite having Orochimaru's powers. Of course he was serious. He wouldn't have lived past that fight if he wasn't. He was far from being on the lvl of being able to take it easy against someone like Deidara.

The whole fight he keep asked ''where is Itachi'' again he didn't run out of Chakra he deactivated his Sharingan to asked for Itachi again and Deidara got mad because Sasuke kept underestimating him Sasuke even had other jutsu's left he could have used to finish the fight (said so himself) though at the end as in that suicide bomb is when Sasuke actually knew how strong he was.

lol you're getting on someone's case for spouting stuff that wasn't true, but you're doing it. Having to go CS2 says he was serious. You're conveniently mentioning what was said/done in the beginning and end stages of the fight and not everything that was done in between. There was a number of times where Deidara legitimately had Sasuke dead to rights, not even including when he resorted to C0. Furthermore, Sasuke didn't ask Deidara where Itachi was the whole time. And fyi, i said Sasuke was almost out of chakra; which is only yet another indicator that his fight with Deidara wasn't the cakewalk you want to claim it was.
:| Post scans of Deidara almost having Sasuke dead last i remember he used big moves like that and it ended up being genjutsu only one that was real was his suicide bomb and those land mines. even then i never claimed it was a cake walk i said near the end is when he got serious. never said he was going easy the WHOLE fight. If I did then my bad.
